Stability control and traction control also work very wel when you are trying to keep the vehicle planted, but the car still goes where you want it with small amount of oversteer,
Everything off, its a buttery dream
Thanks for the feedback. I was worrying about the snap oversteer. If there is a zone where the oversteer is gradually felt, that is good.

EDIT added a video showing the dif between nannies on and off
[ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j8qggahGNH0"]Toyota 86 Traction Control Demonstration [SKIDPAD] - YouTube[/ame]
yeah just be careful, when i say "not a lot of snap oversteer", considering other cars its very predictable but will still snap none the less, first turn i took with all the nannies off (2nd time with the tail out in this car) it did snap but its not nearly as bad as something you would expect from a mustang so to say, find a quiet safe place with plenty of run off, buy some cones and practice
you dont want to get the tail out a little then have a good day and "try a little bit more" and turn it into a very bad day, every corner i got the tail out was at low speeds with no traffic from any direction most of the time with trac control still on

in vsc sport it does allow the tail to get out but trac control is still on and the engine will cut power to correct the slide, you can do short slide and it doesn't intervene as harshly as if all the nannies were on

you can also temp set trac off at a light and break the tires free till about 33 mph then it turns back on, to me i think this is great if you were trying to get some sort of launch out of the car from a stop, with trac control coming back on at 33mph it keeps you from excessively spinning the tires hooks up around 5.5k rpms and the car pushes on to 2nd gear, 33mph i great because it cuts power after the tq dip so your not stuck in that tq rut

im just saying the tranny is good for the price of the car and well exceeds what i expected, ther are fine tuned parts of the transmission that were purposely built in, there is a every so slight jerk downshifting and up shifting, reminds me of how a manual tranny feels when you shift, my other car (camry) shifts much smoother even when pushing it

experience with cars, well when i was younger i did a lot of valet and i have plenty of seat time in my uncles lambo merci, so the rating i gave it was based on what i expected, yeah its not as good as a high dollar DCT but its better than a GTI DCT

also the wrx is a heavier car so comparably a car that weighs 2700 lbs using brakes form a car that weighs 3300 lbs is more than adequate
i rate it a 6 out of 5 stars for a few reasons
1 brakes a firm and inspires confidence
2 not touchy like a LOT of new cars, really sensitive brakes really annoy the shit out of me
3 brakes are oversized for stock application = less brake fade(not by much but still less), if you autocross 5-6 times a year a brake pad upgrade should be enough if your just having fun and dont want to fry rotors and pads as quickly, which means you wouldnt need a brake kit for the occasional stock autox

Sweet -- nice pick up

After break in, drive her over to Boosted's shop to dyno. Definitely want to see how the AT stacks up vs. MT on drivetrain losses.

Now you have to change your pseudonym to "ARGento"

Who else is here from NC.org?

i was a celica owner and peeked on nc.org all the time, off topic forums... anything goes there ahahah, def required a family like audience as it was... very informative.. lol

i would love to but i dont know when i can get enough time off to drive down there, ill do it at some point, jotech is hooking me up with a free dyno, they are so awesome for doing that aswell !!! ill def post my dyno up when my car is broken in

my following on the break in
miles
0-100 under 4k no long highway drives
100-200 peek over 4k occasionally bit longer highway drives, choosing lower gears to put load on the engine
200-400 getting closer to 5k rpms loading the engine during stop and go traffic to 3k rpms in first
400-600 5-6k rpms once every time i start the car on the highway after full warm up

700-1000 miles peek over 6k occasionally

1001 1st through 3rd flat out

did this on my monkey wrench engine and after 1k miles i beat on it cold/ hot didnt matter, car never leaked an oil looked new at 3k miles after 60k miles were put on the engine, 4k mile oil changes on mobile 1 gold
