I just installed the 2.5 inch axleback a few days ago. It sounds great and for the most part looks good too. It is fairly tame at all rpms, it has a very low almost bass sound. Zero drone or rasp whatsoever... That being said my tips don't line up perfect. It's not how it's hung, it looked off before I installed it. It isn't very noticeable but they definitely don't line up perfectly. The sound is addicting enough I can hopefully get past the tips.

How much louder is it than stock? like 2 times as loud? 1 and a half? I am trying to deiced between the 4 and 5 on the 2.5 and I don't want it too quite. I plan to leave everything else stock and worried the 5 might be too quite as I think stock is pretty quite already.

Go with 4 if you are afraid 5 is quiet. I have a 4 and perfect for me.

4 would be perfect for me. I have the 5 and its awesome until I am driving by another car with exhaust and it can get drowned out. Problem for me is I have the 5 and I am worried that it will be too loud with headers so I will probably swap over to perrin at some point.

Put in my order for a 2.5" w/ 5" mufflers. Now I just need my OP and the OFH! God I want my tracking number already lol

Ordered my 2.5" w/4" mufflers on June 25th. Got my tracking number and its still just in the build que 2 weeks later with no idea how long the build que is :/

So the tracking number just becomes a way to make yourself sad by looking at the screen and realizing there still not even building it yet! ha

I emailed nameless about an update and what they told me to was that it will be another week or two until they put the axlebacks into work. So it seeks like there is a decent que for them too. I'm sure the wait is worth it.

ordered and paid for mine june 1st...so far I got nada, zip, zero, and zilch

Hello everyone. New here. I ordered my 2.5 with 5in mufflers on June 2 and still have no updates on it. I emailed them June 25 and was told between 1 to 2 weeks they would start the batch for FRS/BRZ parts. They have been working on STI/WRX batches and thus they haven't been able to start on ours yet. It's been over 2 weeks since I emailed them so hopefully they start this week.
