Just got my Asphalt FR-S this past Saturday. I love it more and more every day. Definitely a step up from my 2009 Jetta 2.5. Excited to be a part of the community

...... to the gang!

If you head out in the snow with that new machine and it came with "summer" tires, you may wish to look into some all-season (or winter) tires.

Ever see a hog try to walk on ice .. ?? It looks like a FR-S with summer tires on snow.

There was a possibility for snow the last couple of days here in North Seattle. For those of the members here unaware of Seattle driving, as much as it rains here, Seattleites act like a like mist is a torrential down pour. In the chance of snow, as confident as I am as a driver, I don't trust anyone on the road even in a light sprinkle of snow.... If snow comes here in seattle my new baby is definitely not taking part in the carnage

But I can definitely feel how slippery these tires are. Contemplating on if I want to get some new, stickier tires sooner rather than later.

Yep, better just to stay off the roads till all the A-holes run off the road.....

Yes, this area is right on the "edge" of not needing winter tires. However, being conservative, I slipped on some all-season tires that are "better" in the snow, but yet give me more confidence in the "cold wet" and yet will be quiet and still good in the summer.

Yeah, the weather here is mild enough that I think I'll just go with some all season tires. But I'm probably going to wait a bit before I go changing out the tires. There are so many mods I want to do!

Hello to all my fellow FRS/BRZ fans. I just joined the site just as I put my ride away for the winter. Looking forward to meeting up with New England peeps this summer for some nice cruse days. I hope to drive up to the Notch in Stowe VT next summer if anyone wants to come along.

Pic's 1st just after I picked it up. 2nd is just before I put it away with my winter car behind it

I just found this forum after making my decision on what kind of car I'm going to get when I get back from my deployment. It's what keeps me going here in the desert to know that I'll be riding around in a brand new FR-S when I get back.

It is a great thing to keep you going man. You will love it. They are so much fun and are the best looking cars south of 30k.

Thanks for your service man and good luck over there.
