Is it necessary?
We will have to wait and see.

I can only speak for my self here, but if I as going to upgrade, I would rather sell my old kit and just buy a new one.
I mean, what would you do with a leftover small charger?
Just keep it as a souvenir?

Yeah they were comparing the smaller charger. Only because nobody else has a Rotrex kit with a larger one. I'm pretty confident that if JR had a larger kit you'd all show up to talk people out of the larger KW kit too.

The whole idea is that the kit is upgradable. You can sell the supercharger itself to someone, or you can buy it with the bigger supercharger in the first place, which is what I would do...

I cant speak for others but I personally have not attempted to steer anyone away from the KW kit.

I hope more people run them.
Would love to see them at a track. So far, I havent seen one.

I would also just get the large one in the first place or sell my whole kit.
Selling a charger by itself, i think, would be much harder.

all this BS bickering back and forth is counter productive. its my thread so let me bottom line it. clearly there wasnt enough involvement here to sway me towards the KW kit. the owners just never really showed up. maybe a few did and they all seemed to be pretty happy but it wasnt enough for me. so i did my own hardcore investigating and research and got some great info from some really good sources.

i dont care about upgrade. its so irrelevant to me. im not buying something and saying that i want it upgradeable. like i said before, thats just stupid IMO. if i was worried about that, id go turbo, which im not. i love my car. i love the way it drives. i just feel that it needs a tiny bit extra. thats it.

so to the guys that are fighting back and forth in here, take it somewhere else. aint nobody got time for that, lol.

seriously though, it was a great thread and a lot of fun reading but i already know what im doing so

Good luck with whatever direction you go in. I agree that the thread didn't do much to address your questions as honestly intended. I can say I've been happy with my KW kit, but if I were to make a decision heavily based on the content of this thread, I am not sure what I would do. Thankfully my decision to go with KW was based on other factors and having the kit for 7000km now, this thread doesn't make me regret my purchase.

Do you currently have a Vortech Supercharger installed? Have you hit the streets?

I'd like to see what your research turned up. Any chance you'll post it?

Good for you for publicly apologizing. In this industry, perception and customer service is paramount. It's refreshing to see a vendor take ownership in their (hopefully) past mistakes and work to correct them.
