Vivek is pretty good at designing courses that do not overly emphasize
horsepower over handling. See the Texas Tour courses from the last two years.
That doesn't mean there won't be a slow corner but it will not look like Strano's
east course from last year.

Its sportscar doing their 'who to watch' column again this year? I heard rumors it was going away.

My codrive would not be happy to not have her pit crew there. I guess we've always been lucky that this didnt happen before.

If you read it closely, some CSers will work a different group than the rest of CS. Seems to be, from the comments made, they did this to avoid having CS working while CSL was driving as they are often crew for each other

From what I've heard... yes. Don't know the context behind it or when or who or any of that, but there's a long running joke about emblem removal and why you shouldn't do it.

But if you do, keep them in your dash

Same with FSP/FSPL and a few other classes. With 4 run groups, it should be simple to not overlap working while a co-driver is driving... but... somehow... no. Gotta run 2, make sure they put me working 3, so I can be around for our FSPL co-driver in 4.

I beleive they did kill it. In any event, if it wasn't out by now, it'd be too late, anyhow. It was a neat article, but it's really hard to make solid predictions on who's in the running to win the class when we don't even know who's showing up and what they're driving.

As a first timer to Lincoln, are there any things I should bring other than my usual autocross stuff? I've been told I should bring two pairs of shoes and another way to get around (bike, scooter, skateboard, golf cart, etc.)?

I've been told to bring extra shoes, extra socks, a bike or scooter, sunscreen, floppy hat, one of those cooling towel thingies, an oscillating tool for clearing OPR off of tires, and preferably an extra liver since I'm paddocked beside the ATL tent.

Wet weather gear would be appropriate too since I think it's done that "magic sky water" thing we try not to speak of the past few years at least one of the days.
