copy and pasted outline because my experience was horrible.
Spoke to the manager. He told me they had a black one, manual. Told me to drive down there for a test drive. Went (hour away and I was very tired that day) and he barely acknowledged me and shunned me off to a salesman who barely spoke english. The black MT, turns out was sold the day before. They had a red though. I said it's 25K, it better be auto. He told me they don't make an auto. I said they do, whatever... haven't driven it. Let's go. He said, no... wait one minute... *speaks to manager* Comes back and tells me I have to fill out paperwork and do a credit check. I told him why? You never said that over the phone... he then said he never promised me a test drive but only to see the car. I told him I went to the FRS Party and I've LOOKED/SEEN a bunch of them already... I wouldn't have driven to see his. I said this is ridiculous and I'm going to report him, he's losing a customer. He told me go ahead and that he didn't care. I said, okay, I'll make sure to let everyone on the forum know not to go to you and they just walked away... so did we. SO pissed.

Walked in RIGHT after I got heated with Hamer / Mission Hills. Luckily, they had a white auto and an orange manual. I got to drive both, almost instantly. Roger, the manager I believe, kept his word and didn't make me do any paperwork or put any money down. The saleslady was nice and took me on a test drive in both vehicles. She had a little trouble with the manual and kind of made me feel scared at times. That was fine as soon as I took the wheel, I understood what all the hype was about. Up until this point, everything was great 100%. However, when she came back after her pep talk or whatever from her other manager (?) She was pretty pushy about us filling out paperwork and saying that she could get us the Raven manual THAT day through a dealer trade. (this was not going to happen nor were we ready to just sign papers with no loan or cash in hand). I made it very clear I was there for a test drive and I would not have any money for her unless I had a right of refusal with the car in front of me. She couldn't assure me of a delivery date and said I wouldn't have rights of refusal because I'd be buying the car that day. When we told her repeatedly we'd rather have her locate one and then we'd come back, she then insulted us by saying "I guess you aren't ready to buy the car, I thought you were, etc." Maybe she was right. But if she actually knew me, my collection of cars, or how my family works... we might be frugal, but will definitely reward good customer service. She kept using Pure Pricing as leverage saying that we'll never find the car elsewhere and for cheaper, which I found petty. I told her I was on other waitlists and that I am not risking my spot to sign papers for an imaginary car with no arrival date (which she could not track unless I sign for - BS!)
Do you recall any dealer names Godzilla?

Talk to Luis in parts at Carson Toyota, he's the man, can get you anything from Japan.
I'd put your review up but you need 30 posts.

(I'm doing this to prevent dealers from screwing with the reviews)

Has anyone been to Hooman Toyota before? Thoughts? They are marking up their FR-S and I'm weary of any dealership that does that.

I hate I hate Puente hill subaru! I went to them on saturday morning cause I was in the area, and I was having a really bad noise coming from my engine. So I thought maybe they could probably check it out (the service department was still open) so i get there and I just see people walking around my BRZ and then walk away! no help no "how can i help you" nothing! so i I decided to walk in and talk to someone....took 10 mins to get some one NOTE: They were not busy! it was like a ghost town over there....so after 10 mins passed by an older gentlemen came and asked what was the problem and I explained, he says OH OK...well you should probably take it to irvine Subaru where you bought it...I said but I'm here and this doesn't sound normal on a 2-3 week old car? then he says yeah! but were pretty busy in the service department...also I would have to call SOA on it..and the guys that know about this won't be here till tuesday!

So I said Oh okay...thanks anyways bye!

I feel bad for who ever buys there BRZ from that dealer!

Wow, that sucks. So I guess I shouldn't be looking to get good service after the car arrives. That is, if it ever arrives...

We should probably complain about that dealership to their owner and SOA. That definitely needs to change. IIRC, if you hang a manufacturer's logo on your door then you "must" service all their cars. It's something you'd want to do anyway. I mean you make money from repairs right? Even if it's repairs under warranty they get paid from Subaru anyway.

So far, I've had good service from Rich at Irvine Subaru, but it's way too far for me to drive for service. So I'm hoping to find something closer to the metro LA area when the car arrives. If it ever arrives.

West Covina Toyota/Scion

promised to give me a shuttle service which they refused after I decided not to sign the contract because there was 6k mark up.

I sat outside of dealership for an hour waiting for my friend to pick me up.

Wow, nice service a-holes! It's funny how the dealership's inventory site lists the car for MSRP, isn't that a violation
of pure price?

How did you get to the dealership in the first place?
