It's a Subaru TSB. You can see it listed here, but without an account, you can't view the PDF.

by the way, don't know if anyone has noted this, but the latest issue of Automobile Mag (April?), they noted that their long-term test BRZ was brought in for the same tail light condensation. Just a quick note that it was replaced by the dealer. But I imagine such publicity will only drive Subaru and Toyota to work even more to fix this highly visible issue...

I thought I dodged the bullet on this one, but I just found out there was a small on condensation in both my taillights.

Do they let you keep the original ones or does the dealer keep those?

Just got it in my left tail light, and it's a January 2013 build. 2 weeks for a new unit from Japan. :-(

Just *how* that much water got into it during the biggest drought in recorded history is a mystery!

The new TSB above just lists new 15mm surface area nuts vs the existing 12mm surface area nuts to install the lights. That's the only difference I see from the last one.

I thought I had read somewhere that there was a new gasket part number as well?

I haven't been following this one that closely. But per TSB 12-131-12 dated 6/12/12 the part #'s are 020 and 030

Per the new TSB 12-145-13 dated 2/15/13 the part #'s are still 020 and 030.

The new 15mm flange nut part # is 902370040 each.

The TSB goes into new details of "flattening" any distorted sheet metal due to the old style nuts.

had mine replaced several weeks ago. condensation is back on the same tail light. will be going in today, again.
