Just had my 7500 mile service. had both taillights replaced per service bulletin. Condensation in both. service writer said certain serial # affected, mine is 1150.

Noticed condensation in mine today after washing the car the previous day. It was a pretty cold morning. Passenger side had it on the top. Looks like I'll be calling my dealer.

After having let my stock tails thoroughly dry (to remove all the condensation inside) and making/installing my new gaskets (thread here), I can happily report zero internal condensation/water. It's been raining pretty hard all day and no sign of anything wrong. The only thing I have yet to test is the car wash.

Before installing the custom gaskets, there was consistently condensation/water inside the tails every time it rained even a little bit.

Just had mine replaced today along with the ECU update and a 5,000/7,500 mile service...mine said 5k but it seems to be 7500 is what it should be...oh well needed new oil anyways...hopefully they taillights stay dry

I noticed a little bit of condensation in mine yesterday, but yet, today they are fine. Mine are nowhere near as bad as some that I have seen here. I have a bumper-to-bumper extended warranty for 7 or 8 years, so, not too terribly concerned unless it starts to pool in there.

Picked up my FRS in December, and noticed condensation last week in both tail lights. Doesn't look like this issue was resolved even on newer production models.

Yup. Purchased mine about two weeks ago. Condensation issue not resolved on newer builds. They noted the problem. If it happens again, it'll go in for warranty work.

Hey guys, on Monday I went to the dealer to have them order me a pair of new tails...

- I noticed the problem awhile ago and was waiting for their to be a true fix...big mistake now my passenger side is all fogged up. (I recommend anyone who has slight condensation to bring it in there now...it only gets worst)

They took pictures of it and they told me it would take a few weeks before they get it...that was fine.

Today I got a call and they told me that Toyota made a announcement of all the "troubled" cars today and my car doesn't fall under the VIN. My VIN in 69**?! I asked how could that be?!! They told me I was over 3000 off!!!

Now they told me I have to go in to file a complaint with Toyota in order to get them fixed.. They said it would take a few hours and I should leave my car there...They said they have to find out why its leaking and use that to file a complaint....Has anyone else experience this yet?

Been raining on my new FR-S all week, then I washed my car. 2 weeks old and has condensation. I knew about this problem when buying the car, but didn't think it wouldn't happen this quick to me. I'll take a pic in the morning and see what the dealer says.

I had them pull up the TSB at the dealership so I can confirm that its exists.
