I did not have to remove my real bumper. This is how I did it:
1. Cut out templates for cut outs and lip height mount. 2. Use a dremel to make holes and then after cut from hole to hole (kind of like pumpking carving) 3. Sanded using dremel. 4. Remove screws/bolts inside the back wheel well. 5. Remove all underside clips connected to rear diffuser area. 6. Turned all double sided tape outwards. Then two people stick to bumper. 7. Put screws on rear wheel well into bumper. 8. Check alignment with lip height mount template. Stick down. 9. Admire dope rear end. It was actually a pretty simple process. Just cut, remove bolts/clips. Stick it down, then screw it all in, remove all double sided tape covers. |

Can you more detail about step 2? How many holes did you make first before cutting? And which spot to make hole? For cutting tool, did you use supply knife/saw that came with kit? Or using dremel to cut? Sorry to ask many question. I never did bumper cutting before so kind of worry about to mess up OEM bumper.

Yeah, no problem.
I used my dremel's cutting tool to punch holes through it. It's pretty much a drill. The template makes you line it up with the rear tow hook covers on the original bumper. There's the black squares, so the template lines up with that. I drilled a hole maybe every half inch all around based on the template. Then I used the dremel cutting tool to cut from hole to hole. After i used the dremel down the rough edges. Quote:
