Looking very nice! I went with Hyper Black myself, though my brakes stick out just like yours haha. the RT5's are growing on me the longer I have them. I like the decal on your spoke. I was thinking of doing something similar but I have not decided what to do yet

To be fair, my build thread is WAY out of date at this point. I'll be working on it this week hopefully.

Currently I'm on RCE Tarmac II coilovers with 400 in/lb springs F/R. Vorshlag camber plates in the front, stock upper mounts in the rear. Whiteline rear camber bushings and adjustable front sway bar links.

I'm not sure how much lower than stock the car is. Front camber is -2.5, Rear -2.2, 0 toe all around. Though with the added clearance the +44 offset is giving me in the rear, I think I'm going to dial out some of the rear camber.

I've owned all sorts of wheels. From a custom set of TE37s to a set of wheels that were only $99 each new.(edit: didn't realize I said this already in this particular thread, but I'll leave it here for emphasis) There's pros and cons to both. In this instance, a set of Rotas was the better choice.

Here's a pop quiz:

5 wheels from 5 different manufacturers, all with the same design.

Which is the original?
Which is a knock off?

Wheel 1:

Wheel 2:

Wheel 3:

Wheel 4:

Wheel 5:

I'll post the sources tonight. But I think some people will be surprised by how much copying happens in the wheel industry.

No one else wants to guess it seems. It's ok. To be honest, I don't know which is the original. And knowing where each wheels comes from doesn't help.

Wheel 1:

Ferrari 599 GTO OE wheels

Wheel 2:

HRE S101 aftermarket wheels

Wheel 3:

Wiesmann Roadster MF5 OE wheels

Wheel 4:

BBS F1 aftermarket wheels

Wheel 5:

Verde V99 Axis aftermarket wheels

No while it's possible that BBS manufactures Wiesmann's wheels, a close look at the hub area on the Ferrari wheels shows they're different. HRE's design is different from the rest as is Verde. Now Verde will get criticism because they have a very inexpensive cast wheel. But what about Ferrari, BBS, and HRE? At least two of them are copycats as well.

Ultimately, no brand is innocent, no matter their reputation. Wheel designs spread freely in the industry and that's not going to change any time soon.

Looks good.

Paint those calipers a bright red and both the calipers and wheels will pop even more.

Second look, vivid blue calipers will tie in with your lug nuts.
