The cost for premium is really negligible. The difference between regular and premium is what $0.10/liter in Canada? That's only $4 difference on a typical fuel up. If you fill up every week, that's only an extra $208 per year.

And how much is it to replace any single item inside an engine?

When a gas cap says "X value" or "Premium Only" as does a manual (seems no one reviews a manual anymore.." Such questions on these forums are very amusing. Is it society and spoiled young folks that may have not ever even had to start and operate a mower or what?

Dude nice tirade, but definitely misplaced.
The answers are nowhere NEAR "50/50"

Out of 32 posts, 5 are from the OP
20 say premium only
Three are from you, which were mostly N/A.
and two are for premium does not matter.

So the "premium does not matter" comes in at ~6%.

So by telling him

You are telling him that it is OK to run less than premium.

Slightly misplaced enthusiasm......

So basically you are asking if anyone else was dumb enough to consider this? Great post.

Right now it's about $.40 but I see your point

Yes, and I was also curious to see.
To everyone else I've read the manual and I fill up with 93. I guess you can say
curiosity is being dumb

To go completely off topic, Curiosity is actually how sh*t gets done on this planet.
