I use the belt guide on the seat. I've recently noticed the seat belt itself is starting to fray a tiny bit on the edge where it rubs against the guide.

I'm not bothered, if either part wears excessively and/or is deemed unsafe, it'll be straight back under warranty for replacement.

Scion knows about this problem and I hope they have a TSB to fix it before the NHTSA start yet another recall....

I'm 5'10" and use my seat in some-what of a laid back position and the seat belt doesn't bother me at all. My wife (passenger) likes to set in a more up-right position and has to use one of the fur sleeves.

Yup, seatbelts are in a horrible standard position. No car I have ever been in puts the belt so high. I can only imagine what people under 5'9 feel like(which many Asians are). All they need to do is lower the attachment point on the side of the car. Why they couldn't figure this out prior to production is beyond me.

Honda doesn't know which side to put the rear window fluid sprayer on so half your window gets cleaned, while Subaru fails at seatbelt placement.

My neck was red from the belt after a 12 hr non-stop drive to Myrtle Beach. But around town, not an issue.

ordered this one for the brz. I'm 6'0 and find I'm constantly adjusting the guide so the belt isn't choking me. The retraction is too tight compared to other cars. I'm curious if there's something like a triangle sleeve that pulls the shoulder belt a little lower. I'm not sure if that's the correct term, but I imagine it's one piece basically connects the waist belt and shoulder belt, resulting in something that pulls the shoulder belt a tiny bit; hopefully resulting in no neck rubbing. Anyone have an idea of what I'm trying to describe or am I just talking nonsense >.<

I'm 5ft 6in, and I put the seat all the way down for best center of gravity, and I got a workout neck and it rubs hard when I'm not using straps. If I put the seat up all the way then it wont rub, so yeah, I just confirmed that it really depends on how tall you are and how high or low you wanna go..

Really these are about the most stupid thing anyone can use as they work against the seatbelt pre-tensioner in new cars.
