The 86 looks great! I plan on going to Wekfest Houston in October...I've never been to Wekfest... how would you compare it to HIN?

thanks man! not sure how HIN is these days, i havent been to one since the early 00's lol. but as far as Wekfest goes, and i guess generally big car shows overall, i see it two ways:

1. if you're there to really "compete" and win awards, then it's catered to bolt-on widebody flares, dumped on bags, cambered wheels. i will say though, that it's not just about the exterior though - you gotta have the whole package with engine and interior too. basically everything that is currently trending on whatever part of the car. so in that sense, its not really "easy" for some kid to just slap on fenders and dumped on wheels and then claim to have a show winning car. that said, your build is fucking immaculate!! hahah. if you do want to win an award, i think you have a strong chance for sure!

2. all types of cars are gathered here and displayed though. i go with my friends to just show our cars cuz we're proud of it (lol) and just to share what i built with my taste thats all. im too old now to "want" to win awards and all that. its more than good enough for me to just even have my car accepted for entry, as there are some crazy builds competing. i have fun just looking at what people build these days and people watching lol

you can hit up any shop that does cf work/molding. tell them what you want, how you want, and then they make it for you. warning, it aint cheap lol
