Anyone know a good body shop to buff my door? My landlord backed down the driveway without looking, right into my open car door the other morning, and I didn't notice any scuff marks until all the salt washed off today. Turns out there's a decent 2" square scuff in the paint in the middle of the door.

That sucks about the fender bender , I wouldn't bother with driving around to get different quotes just go to heffner collision centre I've had a few cars fixed there and they have always done excellent work

My favourite bodyshop is Golden Triangle Collision in Guelph. Have had many of our cars fixed there and every time they do an incredible job.

^ ditto on Golden Triangle as well, I forgot about them, but since you mentioned I remembered they fixed my dad's Infiniti when rear ended several years ago.

Thanks for the suggestions. I took it to CarStar in Cambridge yesterday and to fix something like that I would need a whole new bumper. I was really hoping that they could replace just the plastic portion but supposedly it's all one piece. I've been able to get most of the frayed plastic off the scratched area and it's hardly even noticeable so I can't justify getting a new bumper, plus I would then run the risk of the paint not matching exactly.

Was at the Rangers game today and saw a Whiteout heading in off East Ave after the game. Anyone here?

If you're concerned about the paint matching, order a cover from a dealership. Most, if not all body parts should be available in the factory colours (ie. OEM paint) so it should match without any doubt.

Saw a white FR-S in the parking lot of Wal-Mart on Ottawa S and Fischer.
You were behind me for a bit then sped off past me.

If I recall your vanity plate says, "Powwer"

The only colour you would have to worry about for matching would be the pearl white, body shops tend to have trouble matching the pearl without blending into the quarter panels. My suggestion is find a good shop and have them repaint it. If its going through insurance it will go on record for your carproof, but also having damage on your bumper will affect value.

No clue, but if you're feeling brave there are a ton of DIY's on how to do this

Ordered LED replacements for the dome, trunk, and license plate lights, as well as switchback front turn signal LEDs and rear turn signal LEDs (all 5 items from Diode Dynamics, in the vendors section here), and I also ordered the HID retrofit kit from The Retrofit Source yesterday.

I'll try to post some before and after pics when I install everything, though it might not be until the spring since I am generally pretty whiny about the cold and don't have an easily accessible warm place to do it in.

Only two planned mods left now: lowering springs and a sharkfin antenna.
