Biggest regret is not buying the car I originally wanted. I went to the dealer to purchase a 2015 RS1 but got there to early and ended up walking around the used lot and found a 2013 with a full 5 Axis Design kit and wheels and went with that instead. I really wish I would have just purchased the obnoxious yellow limited edition one.

I'm sure I posted on here at some point, but I'd like to update.

I thoroughly enjoy my car and love how it feels in the bends. However, I do wish I had slowed down on my build. I was in such a hurry that I didn't get to enjoy it much before the supercharger went on. Also, still wish it was white instead of black. But otherwise, there's nothing to complain about!

Though the only car that is swaying me away would be the Focus RS. But... I'll just wait another 3 years so they can work the kinks out.

one and a half years of ownership, two accidents (both not my fault), and months of repair time and i still love my brz. after the second accident i thought the car was bad luck and i considered selling it and starting looking into the market again but i couldnt find anything worth giving up my brz for. i feel as though the damages and repairs brought us closer
the car is a drivers car. the seats hug, the steering rack responds, the chassis is rigid, and it looks so damn cool lol. its a fun car to mod if youre into that sort of thing and with the right mods the car is a perfect track car/dd. its a bit hard not to get carried away with aesthetic mods but if youre into that too theres definitely a market. its small but i hope no ones buying a twin for the storage space. i can see this car being in my garage for a long time.

Considering I went from a 1995 Accord EX to a 2016 Subaru BRZ, I am very pleased, but I'm only 1400 miles in so far

Coming from an SRT4 which I still have but the twins are a really different kind of car. I didn't expect the brz to be anywhere as fast as the SRT4 but I still love it none the less. The reviews about how it handles are spot on and RWD is a plus. It was only 21k with 8k miles on it as well

Very happy, heard about the car in 2012 and finally picked mine up just a week ago. The break in period is hard not going over 4000 rpm.

One small inconvenience is that the Alcantara doesn't breathe that much so whenever I have the windows down I get a bit sweaty in my back.

Car still turns a lot of heads despite coming out 3 years ago. This is also my first car with GPS so that's pretty neat as well - it can even warn me of speed cameras, roadwork and sharp turns.

I came from a 2001 Saturn SL1. Auto Trans but everything was manual powered like the windows and locks lol. That car was 95% plastic and the only electric powered device was the after market stereo. MAAAAAJOR upgrade

I like my car, I came from a 2002 GT that was killing me as it got older in repairs. Only had 138k on it but it always needed something repaired. I did however love its power. That being said, I wouldn't attempt some of the curves I've sliced thru with my FR-S in my GT. This car is super fun on back roads!

The GT cost a lot of money to drive too as it sucked down gas and this car I fill up on Friday and don't fill up again till Friday. My wife and I drive it as our DD. She gets it twice a week and I take the Kia Soul. This keeps the huge miles off of it and will bring us more if we try to sell it. Nothing looks like a BRZ/FR-S on the road far as I can tell. The other car I thought about was the Genesis coupe but it is more luxury/sport and is heavy like the GT

8.5/10

-1 for build quality I've lost my inner fender liner from a speed bump and oh so many rattles and squeaks making me get an exhaust just so I don't hear them.

-0.5 for stock engine tune, OFT E85 + Drop in filter = perfect amount of HP for city and daily driving.

The car is meant for one thing, driver engagement. Too much horsepower and I think you start losing that when you can't mash the throttle everyday... Just my 2 cents.

Had mine for nearly 3 years. Bought new, now has 42xxx miles on it. Came from a lightly modded MKV GTi (which I loved, but wanted to move into something RWD that wasn't too powerful so I could learn to control it instead of *****footing some 450hp thing).

I LOVE my FR-S. It's absolutely the best driving car I can think of for under 50k or so. There are plenty of faster things, but nothing has the dynamics this thing has, and i've come to appreciate what it has instead of dwell on the one single thing it is missing. I've driven TONS of great cars, and while the 86 doesn't do EVERYTHING brilliantly, it does plenty extremely well to be special.

I have no plans to sell it, and in a few years when I buy a DD this thing is going to get gutted for more of a track day/time attack build. For now, it's just got a few little tweaks here and there and makes me smile every time I drive it to this day.

3000 miles in and I am loving it! Friends and coworkers keep asking "any regrets?" and I just go #NOPE (yes I know I used a hashtag shame on me).

Plans for the future include trying autocross this summer, Smoked Valenti Tail Lights, Vortech Supercharger, and black wheels.

Looking forward to years to come
