Amazing steering feel
Very fun to drive
This baby loves corners and it feels amazing
Nice boxer engine sound
A sexy exterior (The BRZ/FRS is a 10, a keeper)
Gets lots of compliments (car guys, woman, car whores, etc)
Comfortable interior (at least for two people only)
Good MPG on average
Good for Mods
Its made by the best Japanese manufacturer (Subaru)

The Bad:
The paint sucks (its a shame since the car is sexy af)
Sometimes i do feel that i need more power (Usually on straight lines)
The Audio system sucks
Crickets produced by the high pressure pump (this one bothers me most since the car looks so sexy but not sexy while producing those cricket sounds)
My list is identical to this

Honestly my frs is everything I thought it would be. Small, fun to drive, good gas mileage, great handling and some throwback curves to the glory days of body lines on cars.

However, I do wish I had something else to drive for long trips/daily. Which I totally expected! Definitely gonna pick up a older lexus/avalon for a daily as soon as I can.

When I was not driving, I am actively looking for replacement cars. When I am driving the car, I wonder wtf I was thinking about let it go and take depreciation lost. It goes in everyday lol

I honestly do not understand how anyone could think the FA20 sounds good, at least stock.

Mind spinning...

I am pretty unsatisfied with the car honestly its not as good as everyone on here touts it to be when you've owned its competition, its really poorly made, has tons of nagging issues, and is super slow i knew it was slow going in but after a while you realize how slow the thing really is. i am pretty confident in saying i regret buying this car more than any car i have in the past. i should have just purchased another s2000 or evo or a comp package e46 m3.

Good: right size for me, fuel economy, most driving feedback and tactility is just right (see clutch), styling
Bad: ingress/egress, stereo, cup holder, clutch, sometimes going into first from a stop doesn't feel right, small fuel tank

firm but still the softest car i own. lacks torque, but doesn't really bother me. have other faster cars; not why i bought this car

under similar circumstances (single, multiple cars), would buy again.

So what's stopping you? Btw, I find any comment of this car's quality as inferior to any Mitsubishi suspicious at best.

I'm satisfied with mine, still in the honeymoon stage. Got my 2014 MT subaru BRZ limited in February of 2015, put around 5000 miles on it so far mostly driving to work (i take a really curvy highway into work so it's enjoyable). What it lacks in power it makes up in the corners.

This is the first real fun sporty car i have bought (i have a 2012 honda civic MT for winters, which i bought in 2013). I rotate the insurance on my cars April-Sept for the BRZ, Oct-Mar for the Civic. I might have more buyers remorse when October comes along, but we'll see.

The cabin is compact but a perfect fit for myself and one passenger. I don't mind the cabin noise, the headunit is functional and that's all i need. I've had no real big issues so far, few chirps of the interior, but go away after a little while.

I'd like to get a new exhaust. The stock one isn't enough for me. Same with the wheels, but i'll get it all done in time. No rush to complete my build.

I love the looks i get. I enjoy the power it has stock (although i know it can use more). but i am content as is right now with the car. I enjoy taking my friends around corners and have them have a mini heart attack.

I've considered selling both my cars and getting a STI or an evo, but i just love my brz too much.

For the price point me and my wife are extremly satisfied with the FRS. The value of a 4 cylinder RWD with power potential, sexy exterior and nice interior styling, feels super light compared to my Z, great on gas even when floored, a plethora of aftermarket parts compared to others on the market, remarkably nimble and can weave thru a pretzel factory like cutting butter with a hot knife, plenty of neck breakers, and has a back seat although it is tight.

My only gripe is the interior's lack of quality and features. Really wish it had steering wheel controls for the HU. Not really a big deal considering all the pros!!

what's stopping me is the huge financial hit id take, its not at all a good idea to trade this car in. and this cars quality is far inferior to my evo, at least that car didn't squeak like crazy, have a steering wheel that peels, a dash that's lifting, chirping fuel pump, windows that sound like death when they are put down and the list can keep going on and on.

I have to think that people that think this is the greatest car ever have never owned anything else that was built for performance.

Agree that trading in now would be a big financial hit.

Re. power, why not get a tune and header/exhaust? You'll make 190-200 whp, very close to a stock S2000 if that's what you're looking for. The quality issues you're having are surprising. I've had my car since 2012 and the interior is as good as the day I bought it, with a few scuff marks on the doors. If you've still got a warranty, your dealer should cover all your issues - peeling steering wheel, lifting dash, squealing windows, etc. They'll probably even take a shot at replacing the fuel pump.

I've had a bunch of other performance cars before this (STI, 350z, 987.2 Boxster S, mk6 GTI) and the only car I've liked better is the Boxster S. It's hard to find a lightweight balanced RWD coupe that's as responsive and crisp as the FR-S. Seating position and visibility are also great. I understand it's not for everyone, although I'd probably try to fix the issues you have before taking the hit on trade-in.

I have a 2015 FRS with just over 1K miles on it. I'm an old fart and have owned a lot of sport cars in my years of driving. I have had everything from Miatas to 350Z GT to most types of VW's and this car is the best bang for the buck. Is it loud inside? for sure but it is no more or less than my old 350 or the VW Fahrenheit which you could not hold a conversation inside while driving. At the end of the day it is an entry level sport car and for the price point it competes very well in this space. Straight line power is on the low side but it more than makes it up in the twisties... The fit and finish is great once again for the price point, the inside is comfy for two. I look at this car as a two seater which is what the wife and I were looking for. What could be better? I agree some controls on the steering wheel would be beneficial to keeping your hands on the wheel and your vision focused ahead. Real keyless entry and start... out side of that Love the car. BTW I test drove many of the other cars that compete with the FRS and once again it is hands down the best bang for the buck...
