I believe there should be an adapter mount with an eyelet for the top of the damper to mount onto that is not pictured. I'm sure there are reservoirs for each of the shock that is not pictured either.

Kinda like this:

Maybe I can convince Myles or which ever sales rep to sell the set for $2200... "the aaaaaare $2200 for the set... with free shipping." *waves hand in front of Myles face.

If it's too good to be true...

Look at the Mustang shock.

http://shop.penskeshocks.com/PENSKE-...URRENT-MODELS/

$2,500. It says "Priced per corner".

Drats!

...the pdf manual they use in the frs/brz page is the mustang shock/coilover too..so I guess they share similar design and also pricing. I guess it's really that much then :/

So...i got a reply back from Penske UK (I emailed both US and UK) asking if the link'ed pricing was for a set of 4 or per coilover/shock... and they finally gave me a reply after a few days (maybe they were calling around and making sure about the price before giving me a final answer).

IDK if he is actually right, or maybe he doesn't know; but, if anyone, he should know since he's actually actually from Penske:

"Hi,

Prices displayed are for a set of 4 (car set).

Thanks,

Richard

...if he really accidentally gave the wrong pricing...then maybe we should order a couple "Sets" before they figure out the correct pricing...jk hehe.

Very tempting. It's like when the grocery store misplaces the decimal on nice steak and they're only $0.68 instead of $6.80.

What else would be needed to make them work? Just springs and some form of camber plate/top hat for the front?

Camber top hats/plates aren't always necessary ...perhaps you can reuse the stock oem top hats with some conical upper spring perches (like how the RCE coilovers reuse the stock hats).

..someone might want to confirm the price and give them a direct call at their headquarters in PA

Steak..mmm

Would you really reuse the OEM mounts with Penske coilovers though? I think I would actually feel bad doing that.

Damn right. $2.2K puts them right in line with RCE Tarmac IIs or KW v3s. That becomes a difficult choice at that point.
