After close inspection they did not touch me, lol... WTF! I am certain of no contact because there was no displacement of the California dust on my car.

What would you do? I wanted to kill someone but I had places to be and couldn't wait them out.
It would suck trying to get out if you were parked on downwards slope towards the car.

On my previous vehicle, I got a brand new rear bumper and went down to NYC for a weekend. After 2 days of street parking, I found 3 paint chips on my brand new bumper. Oh well, it was only a honda..

Or maybe the OP was being trolled by that driver.

Door ding, it's small enough to not really notice unless you look. I have free PDR anyways so I'm not too worried... Just not sure if it's worth the hassle to bring it in for just 1 ding. Other than that, parallel parking never that close, only close enough to not be able to walk in between the cars and that scared me enough.

I parked in the back of a parking lot the other day (like 20 stalls away from the next car) and as I was getting out of my car this lady in a dually one ton does a tight ass U turn around my car just to pull into a spot in the next row, that she just drove her massive truck through.

My blood boils everytime things like this happen. My truck is covered in door dings. I have had to back out of spots so my wife can get in, and she is small (5' tall) Most of the time there is absolutly no need to park that close. Parking is not at a premium up here in the North so I just don't get it.

Close enough that they could not exit their car, without using their door to deform my right rear quarter panel. There was no way my wife could get in, and I didn't know how the hell they got out, until I saw the dent.

I am thinking of getting bumper guards as well since i dont drive my car much here in the city so i can just take it off if i do wana drive.

Anyways, I have to say one thing. Most people who own SUV/minivans cannot parallel park without hitting the car behind them or in front. They are dumb asses and not assholes.

For love of god I never tapped a car in parallel park in nyc even IN THE TIGHTEST SPACED IN THE WORLD OF ALL MAN KIND in 3 different cars so far in my life time of the universe. How do people mess up all the time is because of the ignorance.

I hope every car in the future has built in sensors in front and rear so if a car is approximately 1 inch to half inch away from your bumper a fire alarm goes off in their car.

Some people straight up consider bumpers as meant to be lightly bumped when parallel parking. I think maybe it is an older more utilitarian generation
