a few stares here and there

had a kid, probably late teens walk up to my driveway while i was cleaning the interior today asking all these questions
it was cool, he knew a little bit about the twins, but i was kinda annoyed because i just came home from work(tired and hungry) and wanted to clean the inside before it got dark, i answered all his questions but kept cleaning

Man, homeless people are the most car-knowledgeable out of all the world's non-enthusiast population. Evidence:

Haha thanks for that, there was some funny stuff there.
To this day I always remember that, it was awesome. Specially since a lot of people now still question what it is, or wonder if it's the new Z.

As I rolled out of the parking garage, a toddler excitedly remarked to his mom "Mommy, look at that car!"

If kids dig it, you know it's good.
Like Trix.
And naptime.

LOL, well, one was more tomboy-ish looking, but they were more ambiguously-styled than obviously butch/lipstick, etc.

My cousin did have a mullet back in the day, though--about 10 years prior to her coming out. Perhaps it's a prerequisite for some? ^_^

I love the thumbs up and waves I get from other FR-S and BRZ owners as we pull up to each other at red lights or in parking lots or even as we pass each other in opposite directions.

I parked next to a Porsche Cayman at a restaurant yesterday. It turned out that we were leaving at the same time and he told me I have a beautiful car. I said, "Thanks! You too!" :happy0180:

I'm not sure if I was hearing things or not, but may have overheard a conversation from a Golf yesterday while I was waiting to turn right. They were in the right lane and I pulled up next to them in the turn lane and heard,

"That looks nice."
"What is it?"
"Dunno."

Heh, a more than once I've had a guy in the lane next to me staring at the car ALMOST rear ending the car in front of him. Was driving down a street and a group of kids went out of their way to give me a thumbs up and yell 'cool car man!' I've seen cops check it out at least three different occasions (still no tickets at 5k+ miles). A few times after I parked and walking away I've seen people stare at it the entire walk to their car, and some other guys trying to figure out what it is. Plenty of thumbs ups while driving, I'm not sure if it's cause they are owners too (just driving another car), or just love the car itself. I do enjoy the attention at car shows, I don't go there expecting much, but I always have people crowding around and asking about it. Even more that just stand there and try to comprehend what they are looking at.

Still to this day, I cannot stop checking it out as I'm walking away.

Edit: I still get really excited whenever I see another twin on the road, I'm surprised I don't see as many as I'd suspect - but that's ok
