My FR-S is starting to pack back for itself!

Went to McDonalds drive through last night after watching Iron Man 3.

As I pulled up to the window to pick up my order, the guy kept peeking out the delivery window and was smiling looking at my car and said "You're the first guy I had the chance to talk to that pulled up here"...I was confused and thought to myself, "does no one talk to you at the drive through?". Instead, I replied"Whaaa?".

And the he clarified, "Your car, how is it?" and then before I had the chance to answer my girlfriend was like "If he answers, can we get a free food?". He enthusiastically replied "YEA!"

So I just told him my opinion and whatnot and got a free food...so my car effectively costed me $10 less

I've had a few people walking their dog down the sidewalk in my neighborhood spin around and watch me drive off. I was getting some buffalo wings with my wife the other day, and saw some guys outside walking around, checking out my car. The folks at work now apparently all know which car is mine, even though I didn't announce it or anything. A few random people are like "daaaang, so you're drivin' that little orange car out there now eh? Sweet!"

Came out to my car Friday morning to find this..... LOL

I figured it would be a matter of time before I woke someone up one too many times. Live in a townhouse complex in a college town. Good thing I move out in two weeks and am moving to an even more residential area, haha. I have a JDL over pipe and the rest is ARK (stock header)... Cold starts are loud, yes, but it STFU after about a minute or two.

I have been stopped with a lot of positive feedback but when parents have kids around they think 10 mph is 100!

people in the road want to either race you or just stare at the car to see what type of car is it.

It's a sport car...i try to avoid, but people insist on loosing control of their "souped" civics or even SUVs!!!! and then after they destroy their car in a corner....they start realizing it's not worth it at that moment that a bone stock Fr-s and the stupidity just destroyed their car on a corner...

Bone stock Fr-s!!!!!

I had a woman stop me and ask what kind of car it was. She loved the color too, said it was gorgeous (ultramarine).

Went to a local car show with my dad this weekend too, and everybody was passing the old hot rods and muscle cars to see what the strange new car was. Everyone loved it. I was pretty surprised at the reaction. It was a hit with the old and young crowd.

I sit around my girlfriend's school a lot and I hear a lot of people walking by talking about the car.

I thought about offering her a ride, but couldn't muster up the nerve, and the woman behind me was probably getting upset, so I grabbed the bags and ran.................
Defend your narcissistic attitude all you want, but I'm still marveling at how you royally fucked up a potentially great opportunity by putting a girl down and then failing to offer a ride. I mean really.

Traded in a G37 for the FR-S since I've got a longer commute. People talk to me about it all the time. Way more excitement about it than my G. A ton of people wonder what it is or freak out that it's both Toyota and Subaru. Surprisingly tons of people know a lot about them or want one because there's been so much hype. I love it and I think it lives up to the hype. I've driven and owned a lot of cars and I think it is very much a car for people that love driving.

Questions and comments I get the most:
What kind of car is that?
How fast is it? or How much horsepower?
Should have got a BRZ. -_-
Stick or auto?

I have the ARK Grip and the thing is loud on cold starts, but it quiets down really quickly. I imagine it is slightly louder with the test/overpipe. I always cringe when I have to start it up to leave for work in the morning.

The reaction I usually get with this car is just people stopping me at lights and asking me how I like it or to tell me that they love the car.
