"OEM" Cargo (Tripod) Net
I had my fiancé's cargo net from her Z4 laying around so I decided to put it to good use since I bought a new tripod (Thanks to the suggestions of a few cool individuals on here!
) that never leaves my car now. Don't want it rolling around or getting smashed on by groceries and what not. Therefore I made an "OEM" Trunk Cargo Net for my tripod Bought about $7 worth of screws, bolts, washers, nylon spacers and two strips of plastic for $2 from Taps Plastics. And here are the results

I wish there were more (really, any) options as far as cargo storage for the twins out there...
Anybody know where to look?

like the idea, but don't want to make extra holes on the trunk.

It's more like the trunk "liner" than the actual trunk. Get the parts and I would be glad to help! Less than 30 min, mostly spent measuring/centering the holes to drill.

Just completed my quick-and-not-too-dirty install with the same net @Pwolf got (thanks!).
All I did was hang the net off of the child restraint anchors, no holes drilled. The net was a bit too wide so I had to pull the elastic strings on both side to stretch out the top part.

Interesting results guys!
I'm always stuffing groceries behind the passenger seat. Kind of awkward, and sucks if you have more than one bag. Wish there were mounting points for an envelope-style net. |

One correction: I didn't use the child restraint anchors but the 2 anchors where the back of the seats latch on.
