VancouverFitted FRS

I've been wanting to post a build thread for awhile and have not had the chance to do so. I have never done a build thread before and I thought now that I have a car that is worth showing, I should start. I hope you enjoy my build as much as I have so far.

So my name is Christian and I am part of an automotive photography/blog group called Vancouverfitted. (Come check us out at www.vancouverfitted.com) we also have instagram @Vancouvefitted and facebook.

I received my I guess you could call it pearl white frs on September of 2012.

In this pic I installed fog lights (subaru outback fog lights, ordered toyota 86 bezels from Japan and a fog light harness from nigel-jdm) - this was before all the fog light kits came out.
I also installed a license plate re-locator

With my build I was about form and function. But I am all about that Stance as well so I knew I wanted to go low and have wheels with a fairly aggressive offset.

So I decided to go with fortune auto coilovers because the reviews were overall generally good for street use and track use if I decided to go down that route.

In terms of wheel choice I wanted something jdm so I went with

WORK Emotion CR Ultimate (aka "Kiwami") 18x9.5 +20 offset. Tire choice was nothing special as I invested more on the wheels. Tires are Falken ZE912 215/40 in the front and 235/35 in the rears. I also got the work emotion wheel caps and work RS-R Type open ended blue anodized aluminum lug nuts.

Here's what they look mounted on for the first time.

Here are some more professional photos I took with my DSLR. Still working at this craft.

Next I wanted to change up the tail lights. There was wide variety but I went with the Tom's tail lights. I feel that the red makes the rear of the car pop out more. (Forgot to take a pic of the rear but I see that a lot of members in the club have the same lights and I am sure you all know what they look like mounted on)

Here is my car in my first car show at DTP. (At the Scion Booth)

At this point I felt that my car was ready to go for a few photo shoots so me and my buddies took it out around down town and here is what we came up with.

Here's my first video of my car.

I wanted my rears to go a bit lower to the point where the gap is no longer there. So I decided to purchase rear lower control arms by Power by Max.

I had to raise my rear coilovers an inch and a half as my tires were rubbing. But this is what they look like fully slammed.
Also in this pic you may notice that I upgraded all my LEDs. I got the brightest LED packaged that HID power house was selling.

I got some new plate frames for my rear

My team and I at VancouverFitted make decals so I had to try some on for my own car. Here's a few pics.

I wanted something more subtle so I went with this black banner. On the second pic is the VFIT crest on my rear wind shield.

More random shots of my car

One more with a nice view

Some of the things I do not have pics of at this time are

My TRD intake
HKS Spec L exhaust (second gen) with Titanium Tips

I have more plans this year and I will definitely keep this thread updated. If you have any question feel free to ask them.

thanks for spending time at looking through my build
