You should go to next weeks meet. I'm going to start participating in the meets too.

All y'all need to start meeting and make good local club. I've just moved back to sb and there are a handful of twins here (sb and surrounding areas) - enough to make them happen. If you see a twin parked, leave a note and invite them to the forum and or your contact info. We managed to grow a great community in WA by doing just that. But then again, those people really wanted to make things happen and truly enjoyed each other. I'm still not sure about people in this area yet.

Yup, neither am I, hence why I've gone out to the SoCal Valley 86 meets for now.

I've pretty much stopped acknowledging other twin owners in this area due to the fact that: 1) Most of the time they either look at me all weird or give me the stink face when I do acknowledge them with a thumbs up or peace sign, 2) The ones that do recognize me, pull up next to me and then tend to weave in and out of traffic as if they want to race, or 3) The owners seem to have no clue what car they are driving and truly don't care. I've literally only gotten 3 or 4 exchanges between other twin owners. So, who knows if these twin owners in the 805 area are interested at all in showing up

I've had some people give me a thumbs up or peace and even videotaped once lol. A good 80% though are always people trying to act tough or trying to prove something. Socal is a big car scene but it has a lot of egos.

I'm one in this area and perhaps a bit older? (44) My weekend time just tends to get sucked up with all sorts of things and I rarely get a chance to just go have fun with my car. Home ownership and wide ranging interests means time/money.

Most of my fun in the 86 is going from here to there and finding a detour with a bit of open road and turns.

I'd like to meet some of you folks, but really the problem is me, not you! (Do I sound like an ex breaking up or what?)
