if they made a T top FR-S I would buy that and trade up my current FR-S
dunno why but I just luv a sports car with a T top.

I am still a Nissan guy at heart but none of their current line up is good lookin and way over priced. On top of that the overall quality isn't what it used to be I swear they are just focusing way too much on the GTR which I agree is one bad ass supercar but they have definitely forgotten about the enthusiasts.

The 370z looks ugly to me and the front looks like it has teeth or fangs of some sort. They just need to bring back the S16 like everybody says and redesign the 370z with a better look and more of a middle grade price tag.

And I will admit even Toyota's regular car line ups are all better lookin overall I especially like the new Rav4 I wouldnt mind driving that as a daily/family suv.

Well I think I'm the very very minority here. I used to think that Nissan IDX looked so damn ugly but the retro futuristic looks has grown on me and I actually quite like it.

Also am I the only one or does the word IDX reminds you of Nike shoes, not cars?

For those who complain that 86 got no power, where do you guys drive it to, mainly?
I never felt that it doesn't have power as in my place, most areas are around 50km to 60km (30 to 40-ish miles)and the car got no problem reaching that speed quickly. Any quicker it would probably be too dangerous to drive around suburbs.

On highway, I can go to 60miles alright and most of the time you will just cruise at that speed anyway so I don't find it slow. My wife actually keeps reminding me as I tend to go higher than speed limit too quickly. For daily drives, I don't find this car slow at all and is just about perfect.

And I'm happy as it is if I could go on corners at speed slightly higher than most cars would do when cornering. Wife complains that my cornering is too sharp and too fast though....

She also notes that I accelerate on corners...

I actually like the IDX too and I don't have a problem with the power level in my BRZ either.

I agree. I don't understand people's like for the IDx. At least the 86 looks excellent, from all angles. The IDx reminds me of the Amphicar. At least you could drive that one on water.

The old 510's were cool, and still are, but they weren't sports cars even though they did well on race tracks.

Meant this as a fleet comparison, not a niche car.

The idx' by far has one of the uglier lines to date in their upcoming consepts not only previously stated looks like a riced coupe challenger Nissan, no don't release this car. You need to go back to the drawing board most literally. I see where they're drawing inspiration from but, a smoother modern look not a fucking brick spaceship with weird exterior lighting this is a fail. Oh and I'd rather pay for FI and tune my 86 to my specs and how I drive not a watered down turbo set up sorry Nissan keep talking shit your line blows.
