Are you boosted because there are some serious high HP cars in "street." If there to just have fun its fine buyout mentioned "competitive" at one point. I wasn't too far off the pace of the S2000s in street class but they were straight up murdering me on the straightened I heard something like 240 hp out of that camp.
Anyways its a great event a d a ton of fun. I wish I could race my FRS also with my STi but without a dry sump she's banned from the track. |

There's only an S2000, and FRS and a corolla signed up now. My sponsor is requesting I run in street as enthusiast has no entrants and they want the exposure.

I guess im going in street. I've decided on 235/40/17's for my 17x8 RPF1's. Now I just need to decide: Carbotech pads and stainless lines or AP Sprint kit. Also considered running the crawford power blocks but I would have to remove my Grimmspeed strut brace.

For Road Atlanta, HP, HP, HP....you'll be rowing out the window on that back straight. LOL! I know I was last year.
I would just focus on making your car last the event reliability so great pads (XP10s front and rear), 600 brake fluid, brake ducts, and I would swap in some high end synthetic oil like Redline etc. It doesn't sound like you race much so go out with a reliable car and focus on your driving. That is an extremely difficult track to learn as most turn in points are blind. After the event you will have a better idea about the mods you'll need/want to be competitive. |

I just did Amsoil for all my fluids. Ordering some XP10s today actually. I went with the Bridgestone RE11's in 235/40/17 for my rpf1's and I'm adding the Crawford power blocks to help a little. I just want to have some fun so we will see. Thanks for all the advice!

What ride height are a lot of you guys using for places like Road Atlanta? I know I don't want to be too low but was curious if anyone had any suggestions.
