STOP RICING OUT THESE CARS.

But I guess stupid(imo) people buy riced out cars now adays, so whatever. The only impact it will have is a decrease in sales at Pep-boys Racing and Walmart Auto-Tuners
They're called special editions, they've been around since the 50's. Hell, you might even find some even more early examples of special edition cars.

If scion really wanna do an overhaul they need to start making affordable performance oriented cars, cars that are just like an frs , none of this boxy Lego garbage . Its sad that our fathers at our age could afford crazy big block camaros and vettes and any muscle car you can think of at time. Yet now you look at it and we can afford a box with some wheels. Sorry but a funky hamster dancing doesn't sell me (yes I know its Kia related but still gets my point across)

Oh no! Don't do that! the Nissan folks might have to scrap their "Neo 240Z."

This same pic is actually my desktop... I'm not sure who came up with this design first. Datsun or Toyota? A neo version 2K GT would be hot, though!

I'm so happy our "special editions" get new sharkfin antennas to set it apart from normal ones.

Releasing a new special edition car every 6 months, well, makes it a lot less "special"

well, its "special" alright...

Isn't that what the ft-1 is suppose to mimic or a supra 2000 hybrid like the gt86 was suppose too?

Cost. The car is cheap to own, cheap to maintain, and super cheap out the door. Most middle aged men are conservative spenders due to growing up when shit was actually really bad economically. Not the latest recession bad, I'm talking 18% interest rates on homes bad.

Scion just needs to get rid of their models whose designs were inspired from a cardboard box and people will actually think differently about their cars.

The FR-S was a good push in the right direction.
But if it were me, they should just ditch the Scion brand and go back to making sporty Toyotas.

Not sure if you guys are all being sarcastic or what….but you do realize that the 86's body, lines, drivetrain layout and even 2.0L engine are all based DIRECTLY off the 2000GT…….right…?

Look at the front fender's arching higher than the hood, the shape of the rear window, the curvature to the back side of the door...

I wouldn't buy one, but the way the car market is these days, Scion desperately needs a CUV. Sales of that would certainly help cover low volumes of what we like, the sporty cars.
