Took the Kawa Vulcan 1500 on a 500mi ride Saturday with some buddies to this "restaurant" called the Cowboy Dinner Tree. It was a great ride through the mountains, forest, marshland, and desert of Oregon culminating in a meal of either a 30oz top sirloin steak or a whole roasted chicken with homemade rolls, baked potato, soup, salad, and strawberry shortcake. Only one guy finished his steak, everyone else tapped out before getting even half way through.
![]() The crazy part is this place gets booked out months in advance, and is legitimately in the middle of nowhere with the closest town having a population of no more than like 100 people. The restaurant doesn't even have electricity as far as I could tell. ![]() ...All in all it was an outstanding ride, and hopefully not the last ride of the summer.

Anyone have experience with the Vulcan S or any small displacement Vulcan? Even the ninja 650cc.
Looking at buying a Vulcan S.

I'm a big fan of the Vulcan S... I'm currently riding a Vulcan 1500, but I'm looking to sell it and get something a bit newer (read: EFI) like the Vulcan S. Rode one around the block a bit, and from what I could tell, it was all around the perfect bike for both city driving and long trips IMO.
