Took the Kawa Vulcan 1500 on a 500mi ride Saturday with some buddies to this "restaurant" called the Cowboy Dinner Tree. It was a great ride through the mountains, forest, marshland, and desert of Oregon culminating in a meal of either a 30oz top sirloin steak or a whole roasted chicken with homemade rolls, baked potato, soup, salad, and strawberry shortcake. Only one guy finished his steak, everyone else tapped out before getting even half way through.

The crazy part is this place gets booked out months in advance, and is legitimately in the middle of nowhere with the closest town having a population of no more than like 100 people. The restaurant doesn't even have electricity as far as I could tell.

...All in all it was an outstanding ride, and hopefully not the last ride of the summer.

We've all posted ours already. There's not too many of us with cruisers.

Anyone have experience with the Vulcan S or any small displacement Vulcan? Even the ninja 650cc.

Looking at buying a Vulcan S.

I'm a big fan of the Vulcan S... I'm currently riding a Vulcan 1500, but I'm looking to sell it and get something a bit newer (read: EFI) like the Vulcan S. Rode one around the block a bit, and from what I could tell, it was all around the perfect bike for both city driving and long trips IMO.
