I remember passing by a couple hotels in Grass Valley but don't remember what they were called.

Right now looks like there are 4 FR-S/BRZ on the attendee list, not sure how many are on the forums.

@stockysnail booked a room at the super 8 in the Dalles, so if you'd like to save a little on costs feel free to join me. Anyone else is free to join as well, the more people we get the less the room costs for everybody.

Called a few places in Grass Valley, but they were either more expensive or booked already. Looks like the schedule is much more relaxed than team continental with the first cars on track at 10, so I don't mind getting up and making the trek from the Dalles in the morning.

I'm 90% in for this event. depends on if I can get my camber plate/LCA on time to get a proper alignment. if I can crash in your room that would be awesome

Sure

For the suspension, AR auto services does amazing work. Definitely the place to go if looking for a track/aggressive street set up. And regarding camber, don't be afraid to go a little nuts (relatively speaking) in the front. I've been at -3.1 deg for about 4K miles and haven't seen any unusual tire wear.

Update: Looks like the folks at NWAA are thinking of running the september 8th track day in BOTH directions! CW in the morning and CCW in the afternoon.

Hey guys see you there. Looking forward to another great day at ORP. I do hope they run in one direction only. Not enough time to get dialed in one direction before switching to the other, especially for people new to the track. I'm voting for clockwise since I've done CCW the last 3 times I've been there.

I just read the thing for the ORP track day on the 8th that I got in the email. Looks like we can just stay the night at the track for free. Does this interest you at all? Seems good since it's free and I could just sleep in a sleeping bag in my car or in a tent on a cot.

Accommodations:
Sunday night the gate for camping will be open until 7PM. DRY Camping, only porter potties and bring your own TOILET PAPER. It's very windy there, if you have a tent TIE THINGS DOWN. Camping at the track is free. Camping is on pavement or rocks. there is also camping outside the gate, and it is also on the same rocks that's on the inside of the gate. Be warned, there are snakes outside the gates.
