I really like that it has a battery to keep it from cold booting each time. This seems like a really well thought out product. Does anyone happen to know if it has an accelerometer for Torque? I didn't see mention.

The battery for the cold start booting is fucking awesome. I left it for 24 hours and zing - it was on as soon i turned the key. Some OEM navigation units arent even that fast.

I noticed in your videos, several times it looked like the unit didn't respond to your touch. Do you notice that in regular use? I realize it's tough to deal with the screen while also recording the video, so maybe that's what was going on. I don't suppose you've tried pairing it with an external 10Hz GPS? This looks like it could make a nice track timer if it can pair with the Qstarz or Garmin GPS. Thanks! |

I have noticed the hardware home, back, and menu buttons are faster to respond... no idea why though. I haven't tried any other GPS units - but it is a pretty standard adapter it seems. That said, the included one is pretty beefy and locks instantly.
