I like the look of the spoiler, its cleanly done IMO. Will probably get one on my premium if that is what I decide to buy.

Thanks all for the helpful input and photos! I'm thinking the spoiler looks better on darker cars than it does on white.

Turns out my own insurer is now actually quoting LOWER on the FR-S than the BRZ (but only by $30). Decision time looms.

That $30 must have to do with the difference in cost. The BRZ is the better buy IMO.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking too.

Were you told if that was the final insurance price or would they adjust it when they had the final rates?

They can't give me a final rate without a VIN, but the broker said the values she gave me will be very close to that.

My FR-S preorder is in with a group buy and so the added cost (tax-in) up to the base BRZ is over $2100 even after adding the Whiteout paint surcharge and an upgraded HU to the FR-S bill - not sure HIDs and nav are worth that to me. Plus the Canadian base BRZ has significantly smaller brake rotors than the FR-S...

Easy on the racist comment bro, not ALL Puerto Ricans are Ricers. My BRZ will remain bone stock aside from HP producing mods.

Funny how on the East Coast it's Puerto Ricans, and on the West Coast, ppl would refer to Mexicans. Such a difference in culture lol.

<< Born, raised, lived in California my entire life. I need to get out more, I know Before, I never even knew Vietnamese ppl lived anywhere besides California and Texas. Apparently, there's a huge population of Viets in Minnesota, and when I went to Hawaii, I met this Viet lady who came from similar region of Vietnam that my parents came from.

But yah, leave the racist comments out, please. Don't mind if you make fun of azns though, cuz I think it's funny how my people sometimes soup up their cars haha. "Accord Type R"

Agree, after all this is just an internet forum and I understand where ngabdla is coming from. He probably meant no harm, but it irks me to be included in the stereotype.

But its all good, we are all here for the same purpose and even I laugh when I see the type of stuff ngabdla is refering to. Just wanted to point out that not all of us fit the stereotype.

It was a stupid thing to say, I admit it. It's a stereotype not racism and I apologize to anyone I may have hurt/angered.

I really think the spoiler cleans up the look of the rear. If I end up with an FRS though, I would go for the 5AD Duckbill.

You probably meant for it to be a stereotype like "ricer" but calling out a specific nationality puts it squarely in the definition of racism. I'm from the West Coast with no concept of Puerto Rican stereotypes so it came across as especially racist to me. Don't mean to nag on you personally; I just feel people in general should be more clairvoyant on the definition of racism so they can watch out for their own ass.

On the subject of the spoiler; I don't think it's good or bad. Just looks like another low-key stock spoiler (and functional in reducing coefficient of drag from 0.28 to 0.27 without sacrificing top speed).
