Sti replica lips- abs vs. polyurethane
I first ordered the polyurethane lip from eBay. It fit decently. You definitely get what you pay for. Overall it had a fitment of about 95% with small centimeter gaps right below the fog lamps or where they would be for premiums. I then ordered the ABS from bayson r- super fast response, super Customer service. Anyways i slapped on the abs after plastidipping and found fit was about 97.6% (I'm rounding up). Either one is good depending on what you're looking for. Weather stripping will solve the gap issue on either. I decided to keep the abs one because I really don't want to remove the bumper again.
Anyways I have the puu for sale. Pm if interested Poly ![]() Abs

If you plasti dip both it's hard to tell. I don't plan on lowering my car so I went with abs. Abs seems more brittle and less forgiving than poly.

Install wise, hard time? Did you have to put screws on the ends or just the bottom of the lip?

If you want it to fit well my recommendation is to remove entire bumper and use screws for the bolts. Fits well. I didn't use the screws bayson r provided but obtained some 10mm bolts and nuts. Drilling the holes is the easiest part just use a drill bit that is the proper size

Is the polyurethane lip gap fixable? How big is the gap? Which ebay user did you buy it from?
I'm looking into an STI-style polyurethane lip as well. |

You can use weather stripping which you can get at the hardware store. But like I mentioned- the abs fits a little better but is more brittle.
