RS3s are very popular and liked esp. for autox/track usage! Read where they were out of stock for awhile due to popularity!! I recognize one pic Joey posted from news this AM from an accident caused by a wrong way driver. 21 yo chick was cut out of that car with jaws of life and she is serious cond. but likely gonna be OK. There was several grizzly motorcycle accidents last nite, too. Friggin' war zone out there at times for sure. Vaya con Dios.

I remember that test drive ride and have driven w/them on the GTI. Yeah. Plan to check Maxx's out next week when lug nuts and rings arrive. The Discount Tire on 1604 was the same way with son's PSS as he bought expensive rims and brought them in...they put their best man on it and he was awesome. They have a nice piece of equipment there that barely touches the wheel. DBC Tuning uses them on their exotics. We dropped Berk's name when we went in there and got treated real good, too. Whoever price matches a $$$ amount on the PSSs I found online will likely earn my bidness. It's all the add-ons at Discount that runs up the price though! Would be nice if Michelin had a rebate going right now but, they don't. Did you switch over your TPMS w/o any issues...did you have to return to Maxx for programming?

I was able to get discount tire to price match Tirerack's price including shipping and everything + beat it by 5 or 10%
I did this on Dunlop Direzza Z1 * Specs in 2011.. Ended up paying I think 780 for the tires + road hazard + lifetime mounting and balancing

Similar experience, different tires. All in how you ask. Have them draw you up a quote and have them fax it to you. I even got them to throw in 4 new tpms sensors for free since they forgot it on the quote.

I feel your pain! Had to come over to my old man's to steal his garage for an afternoon. Installing my backup camera and possibly pulley if I can find the right torque wrench... Found a lb/in and a 400lb/ft, both of which are no help to me. :screwy:

Out here in McQueeney I always see a firestorm and I've since seen 3 hot lavas out here! All on 78 and 725 going to and from class.

The dude behind me took some pics of my car at the stop light at Smithson valley high school Hoping he saw my FT86Club sticker and checks the forum out! stayed behind me till a mile or two before Bulverde since I pulled off for gas!
