Just a note: you definitely want to put the check valve between then intake manifold and the can. If not you'll have more potential for a boost leak.

These do the job great and cost all of $0.75 a piece.

Even if you're not running a catch can you'll still want to put one in-line with the stock PCV (which leaks badly).

The Jackson Racing kit includes a metal check valve

For now? Just a ghetto rigged DIY setup.

We'll eventually end up with a nice baffled one, but it's not a high priority at the moment since our ghetto setup works for now.

Isn't it better to have to empty because the oil that hits the catch can is contaminated oil? Or am I way off? (I honestly know very little about this)

Doubt it but hope experts will opine.

Since the PCV is connected to the Intake Manifold, isn't it of much less concern to have a catch can for it due to the boost pressure in the intake manifold inhibiting any gases or oil from coming up through the PCV hose while under boost.

I guess it is still useful if you want to prevent ANY oil from going into the cylinders under vacuum.

The response and linearity is great and the top end pull is I can't wait to try it on the track in May.

Will post some pics later.

Post some more numbers! Like qtr mile, what tires are you running etc

Correct. I never replaced or removed anything. I simply added the metal one that came with the kit to the location ensuring it is faced/positioned the right way. Your just removing the hose, cutting at the specific location, placing the metal PVC valve, making sure it blocks air from the correct side when blowing into it, and re-installing it...
