Do you intend on going purely for looks, or are you actually interested in driving?

Only ~8K on sportlines, but they drop 1.4" all around which is pretty aggressive. No problems yet. They were just going to hold me over until coilovers... but as long as my shocks survive I won't swap them out

This is what I've been debating on doing. Is the ride a lot worse? Do you scrape often? Sorry for all the questions most people running this set up have very few miles on it. |

I daily drive in Chicago and have been fine. Have not had any scraping issues, just have to watch out for high curbs when parking. The ride is not terrible at all, it feels like stock just a lot more firm. Crappy/bumpy roads will be more apparent, but IMO its perfectly fine for a daily

I ran Sportlines for 5-6 months and even though my struts never blew out, the ride quality really sucked. Like someone has already said, the factory struts aren't meant for lowering springs. You'll be putting your struts under stress and will in turn sacrifice ride quality.
If you are set on getting springs, I'd go with a Pro-Kit. They will lower the car 1" and from what I hear the ride quality isn't affected much. If you're looking to lower further than 1" but want to keep a good ride quality then look for coilovers. I have SPD's Pro-Street coilovers which are great if the car is just your daily driver and not going to be used on the track. They can lower the car plenty while maintaining factory-like ride quality. Just do research on this site. There are plenty of reviews on both springs and coilovers. It's a big investment, so make sure you do it right the first time so you don't end up wasting money!
