My VIN's showing now, too. Ordered my Badge of Ownership and now just have to wait.

I was working in NJ yesterday and saw a WRB BRZ on a hauler heading south on the turnpike by exit 10. I thought that perhaps my car had landed as well. Sure enough I got the call a few hours later that my car was at the dealer and that my salesman put notes all over the car not to install the front license plate

Should be picking it up Friday or Saturday, super pumped!

Congrats!! I can't wait to pick up mine from clear bra install today and put another 100 miles or so!

My car got delivered to the dealer today. Unfortunately, they are backed up in PDI and I will be picking up the car next week.

Alas, mine has not showed yet, despite the truck that's delivering it having left a whole week ago! My salesman is pretty angry about it as it's full of his sold cars. Apparently a couple delivery trucks had wheel bearing issues that slowed them down, mine was probably one of 'em... and I leave town tomorrow morning so at this point, I doubt I'll be able to pick mine up until I return. When I do, it'll be my first stop!

Just waiting for a call back to see if I can get a better rate then 3.99%. I pick it up later today!!!

Curious, what are you getting for an insurance rate?

Don't know yet. Will probably find those details when I get the car! For financing, usually we go with Subaru's rate - I'm sure I won't be able to match the rate that I have on my STI though - 0%! My bank was 3.5%, my salesman things they should be able to beat that. Subaru loans are through Chase and they're claiming 3.4%, IIRC, as of a day or two ago. Hopefully 2.9% or so.

For insurance, I use USAA and get pretty cheap rates. My insurance went up 50%!!! when I went from an '02 WRX to an '05 STi, and stayed about the same with the '08 STI. (Maybe down just a hair.) I'm assuming that it'll go down quite a bit with the BRZ, but I'm not spending much time thinking about it at this point.

I just spoke to USAA and, of course, they don't have the BRZ in their system yet, but based on the price and the info they have, they figure $293/6 months. 40, married, clean license. My STI is $355 - cheaper than I thought! I think it must have gone down some time in the last year or two.

Note that to get USAA, you or a relative need to have been in the military. (I get in via my father.)
