My old ass BMW is better by far. Other Subarus are better. VWs are better (and that's saying something!). Honda Accords are better. Dodge trucks are better. Saabs are better even!

Literally every heated seat I've ever used works better then the BRZs.

VW stopped using the roller wheel? R32's used the wheel back in the day, always stayed on the same number

My butt/back gets uncomfortably hot if I leave my buntoaster on high for the duration of my 45 mile drive to work. And that's through 3-5 layers of clothing (underwear, jeans, shirt(s), sometimes a winter jacket).

I have to turn mine off 5 minutes into my 35 minute commute because they got hot...and that's if it's on low on most days, high on a really cold day.

Someone else disconnected their negative terminal and it fixed the problem. I remember it from a thread in the TSB subforum. Worth a shot, I know mine take awhile to get cooking as well.

Battery will get disconnected soon enough when the dealership replaces the trans and clutch lol

It's been a really chilly winter here in Toronto and I love my heated seats. They work fast enough for me. Even with multiple jackets and long johns, I can't leave it in high. It's just way too hot, lol. I usually turn it high for the first 5-10 mins and back down to low for the rest of the drive. I find them awesome ^^.

I don't think it is the seat material. The seat will get really hot for a few minutes maybe once a week. My girlfriend had an old saturn and now has a new hyundai and both of those cars had better heated seats. We came to the conclusion that maybe my car is just temperamental. I started sweet talking it and petting the dash and the seats heated up.... coincidence? Maybe.
