Not sure if that's a sign of a fast thread, or your slow brake job...

S2d4 misquoted what he said if I found the post he was referring to. The OP's comment was about the person who hit someones BRZ. Also found that he complains about the FA20 a lot.

OP, if the engine is a big issue to you, do one of three things:

Sell your car
Do an engine swap
Stop complaining

People need to stop complaining, from the engine to drivability in the snow. If you don't completely love it then it's not the car for you.

Lol this is quite a joke.

Everything is being taken in a totally different light than what I intended to say. I guess I suck at the internet haha. Obviously Subaru is NOT just some off brand. Just curious as to why they aren't a big player in the racing world outside of WRC. Then, totally spawned outta control haha. I find this quite amusing at all the attacking.

I used Toyota as the example as we're all here on this forum due to both Toyota and Subaru. Toyota has racing heritage in all forms of racing. Subaru, mainly WRC and quite successful. Subaru crowd feels quite butt hurt that I'm calling them out on why no LMP cars from their camp. Says to take my mr2 and shove it

Good laughs. Looks like I'm done here. Didn't mean to hurt all the brittle feelings of some.

Sure, but Toyota hasn't really been all that successful in most forms of racing. In some ways, you could say that its a lot more impressive (and it showcases the racing capability a lot better) to excel at one form of racing rather than to be kind of OK at a bunch (though to be fair, Toyota sponsored teams have been doing quite well in the NHRA recently...).

Correction, 24hrs race, they have done equal or better than Toyota.

Put all the racing aside, Subaru plans on dethroning Volvo and Mercedes Benz and become the company that make the safest cars on the road.

I thought I came out and said that Toyota is pretty much the most "losing'est" auto manufacturer in racing...? But at least they try which is what my argument is. And from trying, you develope and improve. Whereas Subaru is all dirt and podium finishers at that. But so was Toyota at one point (even before the cheating and banned). But how about Subaru at Le Mans? IMSA? FIA GT-series? Formula 1? Subaru has no history in top tier level racing it seems and all the fan boys are mad and attacking me lol.

Just saying, would be cool to see Subaru do something with LMP cars to showcase their boxer and prove they can win.

Last I checked, Subaru had to agree to work on the car that you own so that Toyota could make it in the first place, not "Toyota bending Subaru over."

Just because a car company doesn't do x, y, or z, doesn't make them a bad company.

Someone is closed minded & can't read, so I'll make it clear AGAIN

BOXER ENGINE ISN'T A GREAT ENGINE TO MAKE RACE ENGINE OUT OF

was that clear enough or I need to be more clear?

Can't figure out the reason? Read the all the posts members have TRIED to explain

I still don't agree with this - it really depends on the details of the race category. In some categories, it is clearly a wonderful engine design (see: 917/30, though technically that was a 180 degree V, not a boxer, if I remember right). The 917K (complete with flat 12 engine) even held the overall distance record at LeMans until the Audi R15 TDI in 2010, if Wikipedia is to be believed on the subject...
