After the FD there were these 2. Daily beater 2000 Mustang and my 2nd Gen RX-7 I redid from the ground up... I don't really miss the rx-7 but, I do remind myself how f'ing stupid I was to let it go for less than the body kit alone costed when I was in a financial pinch. Love my torqless, sad, blue brz until I have to make a car payment.

I know both car can corner amazingly, just feel different. Your inputs are Deeply Appreciated.
I think it has to do with the feeling of driving the car EVERY DAY. The WRX was a very capable car, don't get me wrong, but it just did not reward me for driving it correctly, both on the street and on an autocross course (i never had the chance to track it).

The MR2, on the other hand, was a handful. But when you got it just right, you knew it.

No, I never tracked the car, but I had planned to.

Honestly, if the gas costs hadn't hurt so badly, I would have stuck with the STI till I paid her off. The STI handles amazingly (and the new one is supposed to be even better).

The reason the 86 is better for me is it feels more fun to drive. Taking her through a corner is like dancing, whereas the with the STI it was like a juggernaut. That's due in large part to weight distribution & awd vs rwd. The steering is far quicker and thus more responsive in an 86 than the STI or the WRX. Also, the weight difference played a large part a well. The slightly tail happy nature was just gravy.

Also, it was simply much more affordable. That itself is the biggest reason I don't miss the STI all that much. I'm having as much if not more fun in my brz but I'm paying quite a good bit less in insurance & at the pump.

On phone I am. Therefore, if mistakes I make, Frank Oz blame you should.

I didn't get rid of my previous car so it's hard to miss it

Added to the fleet since the BRZ too. The BRZ will probably go before the others.

Yeah I turned my beater into a designated track car, and then had to buy a new beater to replace it since I didn't want to get the BRZ dented up at the work parking garage.

Every now and then, I miss this car. Do not miss the crappy service department though that I had to deal with on a monthly basis (not being sarcastic either)!

I miss the winter utility and AWD of my '02 WRX wagon, especially this year. BRZ is parked until I can see my lawn again... :P

I miss my 03 Vw gti from time to time. It wasn't a speed demon but it was great fun while I was in high school and my first years of college. Hatchbacks will always have a spot in my heart. I haven't once wished I hadn't sold her though. The frs is too fun and an all around great car

I had a lifted Silverado, I miss the truck because It was a good truck. I hated spending $60 every 2 days for gas and the 7mpg got old quick. But I like the fun factor of the brz.
