I traded in my E46 BMW 325 Convertible for my FRS and I have never been happier. The only cars that I have had that I truly miss are my 96 Camaro SS Convertible and my 92 MR2 Turbo. Those were great cars.

I sold my 95 Celica GT-Four just before I got the FR-S.
Thing was a beast in the snow and had plenty of power.
I plan to import another one in a year or two.

I had a 2005 Acura TL with all the Aspec goodies.

It was faster and more comfortable, but not as fun to drive as the 86. I really do miss all the luxuries though - things you take for granted. Memory seats, AWESOME factory nav/bluetooth, auto lock/unlock, voice commands, etc.

But all in all so far the 86 has been my favorite car I've owned so far.

edit: I still get to drive it sometimes since I gave it to my sister.

I still drive my older 11 year old sedan around. But the things I miss about the beater when I drive the new frs, I miss being able to park anywhere, being incognito when I drive, and just getting lost in my thoughts during the drive.

the shittier the car you drive, the more you feel like you own the road/parking lot.

I miss both of my evo's (VIII more than the X), as well as some of my early hondas. I kind of wish I had kept every single one of them, but hey, I love the FR-S as well so no complaints!

I do not really miss my 6mt G35 sedan. Had good power but the gas mileage was terrible.

I do miss my old Rsx type S. Wish i would have kept it.

I had a 2007 350Z Touring before my 86. Sure, I miss the luxuries and the incredible exhaust note.. But I have amazing MPG in my 86 and it handles like a dream. 8)

Yeah the M3 is a rare mix of sport, practicality, and refinement. In terms of car marketing/design, it's achieved the trifecta. People pick GTIs over sportier hot hatches for the largely the same reasons. Just good all-around cars.

In comparison, the FR-S is pretty much one-dimensional. But damn is it fun on the right stretch of road or track
