What a keeper lol My wife just occasionally tells me that I'm going to get a ticket if I keep driving the way I do. I tone it down somewhat when she is in the car, however. The back area of my neighborhood is freshly paved with no houses or street signs or curbs, etc. Just a mess of fresh curving asphalt. So sometimes I'll take the car out there in my own personal track of sorts and the wife is okay with that. She just doesn't trust the other drivers in this town.

Your GF may just be motion sensitive.
Maybe she is just sensitive to YOUR driving ..... ![]() Maybe she is just using that as an excuse (a variation on "not tonight, I have a headache" ...... ![]() You might find a hint for your GF, from what mrs humfrz does after 88,000 road miles in a miata and 8,000 miles in our FRS. * she prays a lot * looks off into the distance and just hopes we get there * tightly clutches a pillow (like a child would do a security blanket) * closes her eyes a lot I hope this helps your GF ..... ![]() humfrz |

I understand that the car drives great and is a TON of fun, but c'mon people, not everyone likes being on spirited drives. It's a lot different when you the driver and when you're the passenger. Give your passengers a break unless you know for sure that they're ok with you going WOT and shooting around corners at 45mph.

Tell your girlfriend you can't buy her that handbag because you need to upgrade your suspension - for her comfort.

I make them hold my cup of water.
If they spill any, I break up with them.

I can't imagine women liking the 86. They like the cushy large SUVs.

My wife complains about my driving, but never the car itself. She finds it much more comfortable than our former vehicles (2000 Mazda Protoge and 2002 Chevy Cavalier).

My girlfriend likes to go out drifting with me in mine, she likes cars and grew up with two brothers and a dad who were all into classic cars, still can't convince her to buy a manual though.

My wife just notices that I get to places much faster than in the Honda Civic. I have had this car for almost a year, no tickets. I took my co-worker the other day to the Autozone to get Scangauge II for his battle ship, big SUV. We left the parking lot at 12:45 and returned to the same parking spot at 13:10 He could not believe it. He stated that he head was moving all over the place. However, he had a big smile on his face when we got back. It was a great quick trip.
