Color was difficult for me as well - took a while to say the least, definitely looked at too many pictures side by side by side by side. White is pretty neeeece ...

The dealer is having a whiteout built as we speak. Then I see a pic like this and think maybe I should just go black and deal with the dirt

Let me know what you guys think. I will be talking to my dealer tomorrow. I was told to contact them right away due to the limitation. Who knows, maybe I will only be able to get this one whiteout they are bringing in.

My personal favorite are red and white. From there raven asphalt ultramarine hot lava silver. All are beautiful though!

I currently have an argento/silver celica and I bought the color as scratches don't show and it is easy to keep clean. Is this the same or similar for this whiteout?

I became conflicted about color at one point after I had put a deposit down on my 2014 asphalt that was being built. I literally stayed up late for several nights just looking through pictures of the colors I was conflicted about.
I would consider examining your first color choice - the one that, when you first saw the car you decided that you loved how the car looked in that color, or would chose the car in that color if you could have one. Often times our first choice for something is the most honest, true-to-ourself choice because we simply see something and like it for no other reason than we just like it, or feel something about it...and then the bias, rationalizing, etc kick in and we become conflicted. If you care or want people to think something about you, or want them to look at you a certain way when they see your car, then maybe consider that because darker and lighter colors definitely convey different first impressions - powerful, elegant, aggressive, etc. Just stuff to think about that may or may not be helpful to you. Congratulations on your future purchase - either way I'm confident you'll loose all apprehension, second-guessing, or regrets once you lay eyes on her |

There is a photo section on this forum with a thread dedicated to each color, if you can't see the colors in person I would suggest spending 30 min looking through and I'm sure you will fall in love with any of the colors available.

I've seen all colours - but colours are subjective.
Black looks awesome at dealership but in real life - it's dull unless you polish your car every week and look after it. White can carry a lot of dust/splashes and still looks nice. Asphalt looks nice, but I think it's not easy to maintain too. I don't quite like red as it's not metallic paint and it can appear dull in day time. I initially didn't like orange but after looking at it quite often in real life, I think orange is my second favourite colour after white. It looks very sporty and confident. White makes 86 looks like a smooth car. Paired with stock tail light, I think white looks the best and it looks very clean. If you want rare - get a BRZ in their signature blue. The only thing that I wish I could have as an option is a white 86 with leather interior in white stitching, not red. TLDR: Get white. |

Asphalt is sick, it is the colour I own. However I say you should not buy it. I do not want people with commitment issues to buy the car :P
