I have thought of getting black. Does black actually look a lot better compared to asphalt...?

I would say this picture does the color BLACK JUSTICE....
Compared to Asphalt color image below.
I have yet to see asphalt in person.
Maybe I will just have to go with the BLACK Monogram Edition. I was just concerned that the asphalt was supposed to be so much better looking than black and easier to maintain...hmmm, lots to think about. Scion has made the purchasing options too difficult.

I'm sure the heated leather seats and smart key are a pretty penny too.

And Dual climate control. What a "rediculous" argument.

You know what they say: Once you go black, you never go back and your car is never ever going to be clean!

Every answer you are going to get is subjective. One person says Raven, another says Asphalt. Take a look at both colors in person.

Bottom line is all the colors look great on this car, and you're never going to be able to enjoy it unless you go out and get the car and stop waiting around.

Cool

So I have a bit of a dilemma, my local Subaru has a Black limited brz 2013 manual for approx 26, 000 plus tax with 380Km and my local Scion let me know they have a Whiteout Monogram just sent to production not spoken for. They said I could also order a black but I need to decide shortly due to limited production.
WHICH DO YOU THINK I SHOULD CHOOSE?

The BRZ sounds like better value - but I'm guessing it's a demo model if it has 380 km. That meants 380 km of test drives, and people (like myself) hitting redline 5 times in the 15 minute test drive.

As I think this over I think I can't go wrong with a Whiteout Monogram. I love the contrast between the white and black accents. I love watching this video...

I waited ~3 years for the 86 to be released based off of a rumor that started and grew to be confirmation months later....

I bought mine March 2013 and haven't regretted my "early" purchase relative to all these new "fluffed" up versions coming out more recently... continuing to hold off based on a delusion only hurts the hours you could have already racked up driving the thing, say a ~year ago?

If 1 mile = 1 minute, I have driven my car for 250 kick ass hours. You, 0.

Get it already.
