What made you choose the Innovate SuperCharger? I'm looking at different FI solutions and am probably going with a supercharger. I'm probably going to have Neal install it as well. Thanks!

I really liked the idea of having the roots style supercharger. The fitment looks awesome and it has instant torque. No more waiting for power. Press the gas and go. Runs really nice!

Vortech had the first kit to come out and has been updating their systems constantly.

I liked the idea of having the water to air intercooler as part of the kit.

Delicious tuning did the CARB legal tunes for Innovate and they are very respected in the tuning community.

Neal did a great job!

So my car has Plenty of power now. The thing is flying. Thinking of going back to chassis and suspension. whiteline subframe bushings? Chassis reinforcements? What do you guys think?

Not really ready to throw down on a BBK yet.

Did you need a tune after installing the UEL header and exhaust?

What do you have in the car now? Coil overs and LCAs? Sway bars and strut towers?

no LCAs yet.
Coilovers, sway bars, strut tower bar, wheels tires. As far as suspension and chassis.

William from Delicious Tuning set up my tune. He said with UEL headers and exhaust I am fine with his stage 2 tune. Obviously the CARB legal tune the kit came with wasn't going to be CARB legal anymore.

You might want to consider the LCAs. I noticed the difference in maintaining the tightness in turns. Very helpful in setting camber if you've lowered your car and went with larger rims.

I don't have the sways and strut towers so I'm not sure how much of a difference it would make for you. I'm probably going to go with sway bars next.

I went with 17s on rim size. May go bigger later on so it'd be worth looking into. the strut tower bar does make a difference, but not huge like the other mods I have done.
Have you done subframe bushings?

Developed a large crack in my Borla UEL headers. Had a flex pipe crack that got amplified when adding boost. Almost completely broke in half.
I hope to get a replacement header soon and will probably do a custom tune from Delicious to go with the header. Does anyone know any headers that give the same deep sound and power?

We had a crack in a flex pipe as well back when we bought our first set of these (long ago when we had our FR-S, almost a year ago now) - Borla handled the situation very quickly and professionally, and had a new set sent to our door within a little over a week. Second set was perfect and never had an issue with it.

I'm curious why they're STILL having the same issues even after almost a year of being on the market - you would think by now they would have rectified the issue for sets being sold; however I'm certain they will take care of you quickly as long as you follow their warranty process and keep in touch with them.

18's have the right look and balance for me without impacting performance. Going one wheel size up didn't impact the driveability and gave the car the right look. 19's would have been ultimately the best choice but mainly for looks.

I haven't done any of the subframe bushings. Did it make a huge difference?

I bought mine about 8 months ago. The rattle started soon after and got progressively worse. I got a replacement shipped to me two weeks ago. It had a warped flange, which is a problem they had starting off. I love the headers. Just wish the quality control was a little better.

Ok, that is good to know about the 18s not affecting the drive.
Neal has subframe bushings done on his car. You should check them out.
I've heard the Jackson Racing kit is pretty sweet!
