http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=33553 It still hasn't come in yet, so until I complete the buying process I am not sure what the final price should be, but the initial car price is pretty low. On top of dealer fee and shipping, you have to pay tag, licensing, and tax for GA. Reviews say payment/financing is straightforward and there are no sneaky dealer activities going on, so I'm optimistic. I think after all is said and done, your delivered-to-door price should be lower than 29k, but don't quote me on that as I have not completed the process and I am not familiar with all the bills and fees associated. If you order from his latest(September) batch, I think one would arrive in Atlanta around mid-late Sept, maybe in the Sept 15-22 range. .. I can update with more news about the buying-from-colorado experience as I go if you like. As far as warranty work is concerned, I think you can get your repair at any Subaru dealer, they just send the bill along to Subaru America anyway. OH and if you choose to order from him, and this is the first time you heard of his sales let him know that I sent you along! I am worried he thinks I don't like him. |

lol, i guess doing a roadtrip would a good way of relearning stick. Think i will broaden my search.
wonder if dealers will budge on prices here though. 2014's are already available to order and should be at dealers in a few months. |

The Subaru dealers rip you off big time around here. I didn't care whether I got the FRS or the BRZ, pluses and minuses for me on each. I couldn't get the Subaru dealers to budge at all. Ended up with the Firestorm FRS for $23k out the door.

I bought when they first came out, but was able to get the car for MSRP and shipped down here in a couple weeks from a dealership in the NE. Steve Lewis Subaru, David Hanks was my sales guy.
I'm sure they are selling the cars for below MSRP now especially if you are willing to buy a 2013 model. |

23k out of the door for an fr-s around here? Haven't seen many under 26k D:
Gave clint a call, pretty insane quote below invoice after all fees pretax. How does shipping cars work? Do they just deliver it to your house? For some reason i imagine a big uPS package in front of the house lol. |

It was at Cherokee County Toyota, and I had a trade in I bought with them plus I knew how long they've had their FRS's sitting around (a long, long time).

Usually you meet them somewhere with enough room for them to pull through or get out of, most car transport people won't drive into a neighborhood.
I live in a subdivision off of Old Alabama Rd. which has two lanes and a center turn lane. He parked the transport (size of a Semi) in the middle turn lane in front of my subdivision and took the car off right there. A bit nerve wracking and probably not legal but the whole process took about 5 minutes. |

I couldn't get the dealership to budge at all. Probably because they were shipping (driving) a hot lava from SC for me. Oh well, I'm happy.

I have two HID kits for sale if you guys are interested. They're 5000 & 6000k, I just found stickers identifying one set.
In any case, if you're interested, let me know! I can bring them to the meet tomorrow or ship them since I'm headed out of town. $75 each
