Oh damn so they finished it for the EL then nice... Hope they get around to doing the UEL as catted since Speedfactory seems to be the only quality UEL that's catted and gets rid of torque without a tune...

What makes you think that a Open flash tune is any less visible than any other tune? It's not and any tune can be flashed back to stock for warranty fraud if that's your concern.

Just sticking with the Catted EL as far as i can see. We're very busy with what we have on our plate already.

Most will check for how many times the ecu was flashed especially with warranty work... i think when it concerns engine failure etc...

Well that's news to me is all there Freddy, guys in oft threads rave about the whole "back to stock" thing... I (don't know I don't have oft btw)...And if that's case then the OP can go with whatever. Me personally if I'm going to mod I already accept warranty items may be questioned or refused and don't give to Fs??

drive by & cold start videos or never happened.

All kidding aside, I'm depending whether if I should add UEL headers to my current M7 Cat Back (similar canister design to the Invidia N1), but I'm somewhat worried about the car being too loud. With this said, I fucking love the deep and bassy rumble of a Boxer engine- especially the the EJ engines in the WRX!

Yes! I honestly don't mind the smell and love the sound of catless exhausts. Other than my BRZ I have a 2011 C63 with longtube headers and no cats, but resonated and I gota say I love the sound it makes. With the set up you have does it idle loud too? Or just when u step on it?

What's a good tune for the car? As I have no experience in ECU tuning, my c63 was the first car I played with and I got a intake, tune, and header as a package deal. All the choice he gave me was 91 or 94. So if I'm getting intake and headers separately would I have to tell the company that I'm doing the tune with what I've got on my car and plan to install for a proper tune?

Is it possible to fraud warranty by flashing back the ECU? I've heard from a friend of mine that owned a WV CC, he had a API tune which is lockable. Anyone know any for the ft86?

I have had mine in for warranty work (with E85 in the tank) I just asked them not to touch my ECU and obviusly NOT to clean my car haha. They won't look into the ECU if it is not needed and if you are up front with them.
