Stalling on the highway with push button start

Haha. It was quite an odd sensation driving what was usually a pretty loud car (headers, sport exhaust) completely silent at highway speeds.

The push/start button is the same as your normal ignition key, with the exception that if you push it while the clutch is depressed and engine is off, the car will start the engine.

The answer to your question is painfully obvious if you have ever driven a stick shift before.

Fixed what? How you restart the engine with a push start is the same as with a regular ignition key, the only difference is you don't need to hold the key down to "start" position until engine fires up.

With a push start, the engine will keep trying to crank until it fires, or until a preset "limit" on the starter motor to prevent it from burning out.

The procedure to restart a stalled car is EXACTLY the same from an operational perspective, with the exception that you push a button instead of turning a key.

My statement stands. If you want to put words in my mouth then you're not understanding the concept of a clutch interlock relay/switch with a turn key ignition properly.
