I think he is. The general consensus of my research thus far is that well-set modern bags perform as well or better than stock suspension.

People seem to indicate that they handle as well or better than cheap coilovers as well.

An easy example is the Risky Devil BRZ. That guy was sliding his car regularly on Stance Coilovers but he switched to bags after trying his friends car which was on Air Lift Performance bags.

Nothing is magic...if you slam the car you'll have major geometry issues. Coilovers, springs, bags, lowering top mounts, whatever. See the RSR black coilover thread.

As for comparing bags to conventional suspension, well let's see some info. What kind of shocks do they use? What are the spring rates and how do they change? Again there is no magic bullet. We just need info.
