Sorry to see that.

Damn that's some bad luck, but then again it could have been even worse. She can be rebuilt, she'll be faster, stronger, we have the technology.

Something similar happened to me, but the insurance company was able to get my deductible from the property owners.

So yes the insurance company will go after the apartment complex insurance company to pay for all the damages to your vehicle. Its a pain if you tried to do it your self through the apartment complex insurance.

Rates won't increase on a comprehensive claim if it does have to go through your insurance especially in this case. Your deductible shouldn't be much - mine is $ 50.

Your insurance will be faster and likely easier to work with. They will just turn around and go after the property insurance of your landlords. It looks like it held up well, ya know, all things considered.

Wow that sucks.
As a poster already said, they should expect a fair amount of snow, being in Michigan. This is on them.

lol at all the people telling you to sue the apartment complex. Hell you should be suing mother nature for the snow that caused the structure to collapse.

Nobody got hurt and parts are replaceable. The apartment complex had no intention of destroying the car. Anyways, best wishes. Time for more mods

Dat unharmed van.
Stinkin' curse! -shakes fist-

Hope it works out for you. The structure should have been built better, it's not like Michigan winters are a surprise anymore. Even I know how bad they can get.
