I'm running the stage 2 EL e85 on a completely stock car. Feels great! Like I have a V6 or larger displacement engine. The datalogs show very rich @ 11.25:1 but 45 degrees of timing advance!

Surely you don't mean 45 degrees under load, do you? That's insane lol.

Yes @ WOT I believe that's what the OFT said. I'll verify tomorrow.

Nope, 45 degrees sounds right. Under certain conditions my total timing was up to 50 degrees advance.

I switched back to gas today and was able to get just over 11.5 gallons in the tank. I ran it for almost 10 minutes before flashing and probably almost 10 minutes after flashing before moving, but the fuel trims are just crazy right now. After the 3 minute drive home from the gas station (and very little throttle), LTFT was almost 30%. AFR was bouncing and running rich in some places and there were times when STFT was almost 30% and LTFT was -2%-3%. Unmodified 1.52b file that was generated automatically. My computer's battery died before I could finish transferring over the 1.55b tune.

@shiv@vishnu

I just opened the OFM while connected to the interwebs and it is downloading lots and lots of stuff and upgrading my device. Are we finally getting those extra logging parameters?

Just as an update to this, here is a snipping of my last e85 log. This was after probably 5 consecutive tanks of e85 after the previous last flash.

That's seems normal, cruising around 50-ish degrees. At WOT it shouldn't be anywhere near that. Is that what you meant before?

Went back to gass (petrol here in Oz) from E85 yesterday as well.

Noticed same thing.

Appears it take a few Km to clear the E85 out of lines (suppose their is 300mL or so in lines pumps ect, by which time the ECU has tried to compensate and remembered the compensations for running E85 (or high alcohol content) on a petrol map ie huge fuel trims due to E85 in lines.

Then suddenly is will get straight gass (petrol) but its still on the E85 compensations so you get weird stuff like +30 LTFT and -30 STFT as it re learns petrol on a petrol map. Quite interesting to watch and not likely to cause any drama as long as you drive very sedately till it all settles down took about 20 km to unlearn compensations and settle on petrol.

FYI I usually flash a bit after switching fuels - drive around a bit watching the fuel trims until they start changing rapidly, that's when the new fuel has made it through the lines. Then I pull over and re-flash, will save you from running a map not matched to your fuel. The ECU compensates with fuel trims, but I still don't feel comfortable with it, especially when converting from gas to E85 (aggressive timing).

My data log. I am little bit concerned that the KC learning value dropped after 6,800 rpm.
Mod list is in the signature. comments are appreciated.

Are headers catless
ROM type C.D, G ect

But if you assumed 1.5 stage 2 due headers fitted (catless ??) then the KC learned looks a bit low through out the rev range.

I have been told by person's more experienced than myself that the KC learned should track the "Knock correction Advance" table in ROMRaider for given RPM/LOAD values.

If so looks like its pulling about 1-2 degrees timing.

Maybe try better fuel if you have added max octane booster

Yes the headers are catless.
And yes, our gas is like shit so with each visit to the gasstation I add one bottle of Lucas Octane Booster.
ROM type is K.

Should I add 2 bottles for every tank.
