Wish some people could get on there and post something good!

Also, Eibach's Pro-Kit seems to keep a lot of the factory feel with the spring rates and such....plus you get a little more drop. While RCE's 0.8" drop isn't bad, coming from Sportlines I feel like 0.8" is going to look too high for me. I like Eibach's square setup with 1" drop all around.

More drop, factory feel, and a lot of positive posts....that's what made my decision.
Ugh, the popping noises were due to the discontinued Whiteline Com-C top mounts. It's pretty clear in the thread. And there are a thousand other posts on that.

The springs are silent and always have been. Tons of good reviews out there.

Pro-kits are fine springs.

Exactly, after a lot of read, I confirm what Andy say, the problem come from the Whiteline Com-C top mounts...

You need to read the entire thread, guys, because if make your opinion on the first post only, you will probably be wrong.

The RCE springs are great and RCE as a company does an awesome job supporting this forum. As already mentioned, the problems from that other thread were due to the Whiteline top mounts, not the RCE Yellow springs. Even still, RCE did a great job supporting those customers for a bad part they didn't even manufacture. Who from Eibach is coming on here to help us with their products?

I read the entire 12 pg. thread, hence why I said, "I understand that wasn't really RCE's fault..."

Do me a favor and Google "RCE Yellow BRZ" or "RCE Yellow BRZ Reviews" or "RCE Yellow FRS". How many reviews do you see come up...other than that 12 page thread filled with mostly issues with the Whiteline Com-C top mounts?

I'm sure there are a ton of great reviews about RCE Yellow springs for BRZ/FRS, but I didn't come across much during my searches.

Now, Google "Pro-Kit reviews BRZ". Right away you see video reviews, multiple threads about Pro-Kit reviews, comparisons, etc.

I'm not saying there's anything wrong with RCE Yellow springs, I'm just saying that one of the reasons I feel more comfortable going with a Pro-Kit is because the information I was looking for was easier to come across, as opposed to having to dig through forums looking for good reviews on RCE Yellows.

Hope that makes sense. I'm sure someone could post a link on where I can read some honest reviews on RCE springs...but normally people on this forum like to just say

So when I took out my spare tire and everything in my trunk I was able to fit up to my index fingers' 2nd knuckle between then tire and fender.

Just tonight, with my trunk still empty, I tried to put my finger and now I can barely even get my finger tip between the tire and fender. Is it possible that it would be getting worse this quickly?
It's only been 2 days since I cleaned out my trunk and spare tire.

I was going to try to hold off on a Pro-Kit until the end of the month, but looks like I may just be purchasing tonight. Not to mention that I'm not comfortable driving around without my spare tire!

The Sportlines have only been installed since Sept. 16th. Less than 5 months and the rear has almost a 2" drop, if not more.

I hope Eibach isn't a pain to deal with and will honor my warranty claim.

Ride feels so much better than stock, when you go over a bump you don't read that loud bang anymore... This is how the car should have came from the factory
I agree the Pro-Kit is very quality. With the dust hats, the bump stop replacement (I like that versus the cut bump stop, one less thing to not go wrong or F up), and the right level of drop to help preserve the shocks. I have been running them for over a year and I do like them. I can't imagine running lower in the winter if you DD your car and live in a snow region. Perfect level of drop with the Pro-Kit.

OP, I wonder if your rear shocks are blown because that's strange they are sagging so much. Have you verified if they are blown yet? Doesn't seem like the spring would do that by itself even with a defective spring.

No, I haven't checked. To be honest I don't really know what to look for. I've read about a "bounce" test..but I don't know how official that is to tell me if my rear shocks are blown. Also, 5 months seems kind of a short time to blow out the factory shocks, don't you think? I hardly drive spirited at all. All my driving is highway.

How would you recommend me checking my shocks?

Yeah, I'll post some pics. My rear driver side is actually not as low as my passenger side. Possibly only my rear passenger side spring is defective.

Also, I check about the blown shocks/bounce test. First of all, it's pretty damn hard to bounce my car up/down when it has less than a centimeter of space to move.

Next, from what I've read online, shocks do not determine the ride height, blown or now blown. Only Springs determine how high the car sits. I read that on multiple forums. Is that accurate?

I'll go take some pics and post them in a few.
